I am grateful that I gave up on the "romance" early on - episode 6 or 7, I believe. The meaningless quadrangle consumed 75% of screen time. I focused on the story of Jin Bu-yeon (the real one, not the fake one) and will never forgive the writers for what they did to her. Will still watch Season 2 for Park Jin/Maidservant Kim and ChoDang couples. The FF button is my friend.
Apparently yesterdays info was wrong and TVN has officially stated that Jung So Min does not appear at all in…
Naksu isn't just the face of Jung So Min. The Naksu we know is a combination of facial expressions, her multiple accents, her memories (limited as they are since they are (1) created by Jin Mu and (2) a few months in Daeho Fortress with a number of people).
It would be insane to expect GYJ to replicate that combination (facial expressions, accents, etc.) so I predict she will be playing Cho Yeong, not "Naksu - Shadow Assasin". With amnesia. But since Jang Uk and Cho Yeong are supposedly soul-mates (the romance genre I hate more than any other), he will eventually find her.
Thank goodness they aren't the entire AoS story but it's one reason it will never get a 10β from me.
Here are just some of my prediction with season 2: Jang Uk be either the next Naksu (shadow assasin) or be recognized…
I've been doing some speculating on my own but my mind is going in different directions. π π Somehow Seaho Fortress must be part of the story since it was prominent in the Part 2 preview. At some point, new posters/trailers/articles/interviews will be released and then the real fun begins.
JSM was Queen but I ππ Cho yeon FINALLY getting some epic action scenes. The CGI was lacking but Dang-gu…
I am a big JSM fan (she's the reason I took a risk to watch AoS) and I agree that her action scenes were awesome and certainly proved that anyone with a good stunt double (like GYJ) can do epic action scenes.
But those days are over. I am hopeful that Cho-yeon is the new AoS female warrior.
Why couldnβt Buyeon resist the powers of that stupid bell?? I mean come on, some all powerful priestess who…
Bu-yeon's lack of power is probably THE biggest plot hole of the entire series and although there are a couple of possible explanations, they are not supported by the current history/canon provided thus far. But, at this point, it's pretty clear the Hong Sisters are really more about "impact" than "accuracy".
don't think this really is a 2nd season, it's more like they had a 30 ep show and just chopped it into two parts…
This is my first Hong Sister drama, but a quick check of recent projects show that AoS had a much larger "support" cast (which means they are contracted to appear throughout the series) and therefor far more established characters with their own stories (as Master Lee might say).
I may don't like the last minutes of ep 20 but JSM action scene in ep20 is lit! She slayyeeeddd!(figuratively…
JSM was Queen but I ππ Cho yeon FINALLY getting some epic action scenes. The CGI was lacking but Dang-gu reached out and a sword simply leaped into his hand. I hope Cho-yeon finally achieves her divine combination Choi/Jin powers and that we finally get to see Dang-gu come into his own. From Season 2 preview, it looks like they will become lean, mean fighting duo - hope I'm right.
I've said it before and I will say it now - Naksu's sword is enchanted or made with sorcery and it is the main reason she is able to massacre so many accomplished mages. It's not her mage power (she doesn't cast spells with her sword). It's the sword itself. Jin Mu knows it - he said it was THE sword that could deal with Jang Uk.
Because they pulled an absurd rabbit out of a hat with the last minute βall soul ejectors are cursedβ hereβs…
I thought it had something to do with what Master Lee said - she would be protected so long as she didn't try to use her power. She was already beginning to petrify as she headed toward Woo-tak so was it the sword? Need to re-watch but they definitely left out scenes that could have provided some continuity.
Actually it seems after all the commotion her Agency now made a statement that she will be Part of Season 2 but…
Yes, that's likely. There was a standard "last day" of filming photo (back of car, cake, flowers, etc.) floating around on Twitter yesterday. If she is a living, breathing Bu-yeon that reunites with her sister, I'll be happy. If she's playing the Jin Goddess looking down from the skies I'll be pissed. π
Love this behind the scenes of the Jin sisters fight filming and how they use the doubles strategically https://twitter.com/rin_won618/status/1564117158451638272?s=21&t=MBwR1331h-pnRzfVk6CpSg
Thanks for sharing - I always enjoy watching the BTS of the fight scenes because of the choreography and precision required. It was good to finally see Cho Yeon swinging a sword - hope there will be much more for her to do in Part 2.

This is a statement by JSM's former agency. I suppose they were the ones that negotiated any contract for Part 2, but I'll wait until there is something from the production company or her new agency.
He will be tempted - but he has a brain. He's one of the 7 stars.
Perhaps I am reading too much into it, but I thought Master Lee spoke about the 7 stars "supporting" the King Star. I need to stop over thinking this stuff because writers change the canon whenever they feel like it. I'll focus on the other two couples - especially warrior style ChoDang. π₯°
Sheesh - and this time I guess Jang Uk is Shadow (Dark) and GYJ will play "Light"??? FF button, you are my friend.
Just looking at the Season 2 previews - it sure looks like Jang Uk is about to enter the dark side and GYJ is dressed in pure white. Those Hong Sisters - they just love to play with our minds. π
"Jin Mu is able to unlock Naksu's powers and control her mind? (SO what is Buyeon doing? Is she just watching on Netflix?)"

For me, it was Cho-yeon locking hands with her beloved father - absolute gut-punch.
