Yea, this show is very cheap, I wouldn't be surprised if it's not some sort of fashion but a suit a few sizes…
Once again, might need to agree to disagree. I π the main couple (especially after Ep. 7 dinner where Friendship was more important than Romance). Second couple is "meh" to me. Formula for K-dramas - different couples, different dynamics = more happy viewers. π
The more I look at the preview the more it seems like everyone is undercover (Jang Uk, Danggu - even though he'll…
Question - why do you believe Park Dang-gu will be leader of Songrim when Part 2 begins? I don't see anything in the preview to indicate this. [Maybe it will happen at Ep. 30, but before that?]
Also, Part 2 preview? 3rd to last shot - candle in JBY's room. JBY will continue to be a major "story" but heaven knows if we will ever see her alive in her real body. Not holding my breath.
Jung So Min already on Vacay mode. Let's goβ€οΈπ‘οΈβοΈ Well deserved actuallyβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
JSM was on vacation on Jeju island earlier this summer - she has two related vlogs on her You Tube page. Reports are that she will be on the Red Carpet at the Toronto Film Festival because Project Wolf Hunting is featured during "Midnight Madness" (horror films).
What's that orange card Jin Mu holding in the picture uploaded above? ππ
I think it's the script for Episode 20 - actors frequently take a photo on their last day of shooting and then put it on their IG page when their part of the show is complete. (sometimes, as in "DEAD" lol).
My K-drama ππ started with rom-com (Cinderella/4 Knights) and for the most part ends at rom-com, although a detour to Alchemy of Souls has been intriguing. I started to watch Good Job because it looked fun and frothy, not even realizing that the ML is the ML from Cinderella (which didn't hold up well). I have now added Bossam: Steal the Fate to my watchlist (not rom-com genre) because I love the ML AND the FL in this show. The second -string is "meh" to me as a couple, but really enjoy the SML as partner-in-crime. It's hard to believe we are half-way through this show and no kiss? Not even a "fake one" to fool the many people stalking them? Maybe in Ep. 7 or 8? Meanwhile, I started to call this my "guilty" pleasure, but I don't feel guilty for one moment.
I'm currently re-watching episode 2 and the fact Jin Mu wanted to keep Naksu's sword is sus.
Jin Mu gave it to her originally. Many of us believe it is an enchanted sword, probably a Jinyowon sword ("relic"). The CGI for her sword is different - It gives off an "aura" that other swords do not.
Honestly i'm out of theories anymore on how naksu/cho yeong can return to her burned/ash body. Will it be like…
My answer (ever since the news about GYJ's return): that wasn't her real body that was burned - it was an illusion. When Gil-ju stole her frozen body, Jin Mu kept it frozen somewhere in Cheobugwan. Any other answer will be hocus-pocus "something out of nothing" ice stone celestial divine magic and therefor you, the viewer, must accept it without question. πππ
Chemistry might even be better as in my honest opinion I didnβt get the chemistry when they were in intimate…
She left her sword inside Jang Uk (ugh) and used another sword from one of the mages in order to fly away. In the preview, Jang Uk is using her sword. Many of us believe her sword is an enchanted sword - different from others and again, from the preview, it's pretty clear that it is different.
I bet anything that Seo Yul will be the first one to see her and recognize her physically as the original body of Naksu/Cho Yeong.
As @Kathryn_51 would say they will come with some abracadabra mumbo jumbo magic to make what they want to work…
Haha, I have a long list. Hocus-pocus. Bippity-boppity-boo. Shazaaam! I'm pretty disappointed with how the JBY soul/divine power/but actually it's only her "body" eventually played out. Whatever answers we get in Part 2 will be more Hong Sister mumbo-jumbo.
CP mastered Ryusu. Seo Yul mastered Chisu. I think Jang Uk achieved Chisu, but did not master it? Very unclear.
And yes - Master Heo absolutely should be on that list - the implication is that he mastered Chisu, but didn't want to do what was required to achieve Hwansu. Obviously, whoever wrote this list didn't re-watch and re-watch episodes like the rest of us. πππ
How am I gonna wait 95 days omgπAnyways I feel like there will be a sad ending but at the same time I'm really…
I don't quite understand why many viewers think that Jang Uk will know that "Naksu" might still be alive? As far as he knows, she ruined the body she was occupying and jumped into Lake G. I suppose if she had her jade egg, that might be a signal, but last we saw, Jang Uk pocketed both of them. Hong Sisters will build the tension for as long they can get away with it.
The filming is ending for everyone. I saw some people are nuts in twitter saying he must have died... we dont…
Yoo in soo was filming last week with Arin, Jin Mu and Mama Jin.π Wish it was a scene where those three kill the SOB, but I guess that privilege will be handed to Jang Uk. πͺ
Top 7 powerful mages. Interestingly no Heo Yeom or Shaman Choi. https://www.insideoau.com/2022/09/03/top-7-strongest-mages-in-alchemy-of-souls/
We never saw Jin Mu cast any spells except to use the Soul Ejector, which is forbidden sorcery and doesn't take much skill to perform. We never saw him use Ryusu, Chisu or Tansu. I guess he made some broken pottery fly around? His energy was fairly weak from the beginning and he has now given all of it to "Naksu", so as far as I'm concerned he doesn't even belong on the list. Jin Ho-Gyeong is far more powerful.
Folks on Twitter were speculating because when Jang Uk and CP were in Gaema village, I think the guy they visited told him that was his "fortune/future". Of course, the Park family is the wealthiest (top 1%) family in Daeho and I don't think CP is going anywhere near them. No reason to kill him off, but I think he's going to be lonely. π
The king and Jang Kang switched bodies for 7 days. I think in the next episode (ep4) you'll see their conversation…
Minor correction: Jang Gang asked Jin Mu to find the Soul Ejector - that was the first time we heard the term, but we didn't find out what it meant until several episodes later when we also found out about the ice stone.
Also, Part 2 preview? 3rd to last shot - candle in JBY's room. JBY will continue to be a major "story" but heaven knows if we will ever see her alive in her real body. Not holding my breath.
