Where can I watch it?
It will supposedly be on Hulu in the US on Wednesday. I finally subscribed to Hulu for the specific purpose. If it doesn't show up there, I plan to re-subscribe to a VPN so I can watch on Disney+ Asia. I will NOT miss So=min's latest.

I love "caper" movies and this one starred three very entertaining, talented actors. The plot was intentionally over-the-top but still more restrained than the outlandish Japanese version. Glad they are planning a second season.

Ratings in Korea aren't that great but this is Amazon's first Korean original drama for Prime Video and it's available in 240 countries with 30 different languages (audio).

Gave it 9โญsimply because connecting dots from i-rang's childhood trauma to the present was missing.

is there anything to watch in this drama, I usually like slice of life with romance but there's usualky some kind…
I don't consider this slice-of-life. It's a melodrama with much angst and trauma. I find the main couple to be boring and if you have watched 4 episodes, you realize that they take up 75% of the plot/story/scenes. On the other hand, there are some interesting side characters and the other main couple is delightful. If I didn't like the 2nd couple so much, I would have dropped long ago. The FF button is my friend.

and one more thing his sister right why does she keep saying his father "ajusshi" i mean she is not his…
The drama has repeatedly told the viewer that Chan "dropped off the daughter of the woman he was living with." Chan is not her father.

She calls him ajusshi ("uncle") and she calls Pil-do "ajumma" (auntie) as a sign of respect for elders - especially those that took care of her.

The scenes between Seok-ju and Tae-rin were the highlight for me and for once they were more than 3-4 minutes.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

I feel like producers decided to make last minute edits which is why they Moved Ep. 12 to next week. Today's episode kept jumping back and forth in time (*current time, not flashbacks) so continuity was a mess. Sunwoo Hae tells Nu-ri that they need to talk as soon as her exams are over - but her exams ended and we never saw that scene. So did he tell her or not??? And after Ep. 10 ending (at the hospital), NO scenes at all between Hae and Seok-ju in Ep. 11??

It's like they are throwing a bowl of ramen at the wall and seeing what will stick.

I just checked JTBC web site and Ep. 12 will be at least 80 minutes. I hope they aren't going to make viewer watch 20 minutes of repeat scenes from prior episodes. Still holding at my 6โญrating.

I signed up for HULU (USA) for one reason and one reason only - to watch my favorite Jung So Min and this new drama. However, all my searches are zero. Do I need Disney+ as well? If so, then I'll watch illegal if I have to.

I just checked the JTBC website and it say Ep. 11 is repeated again on Saturday. The original info came from one of the JTBC Instagram pages. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Quotes from article:
"Kim Seok-joo is summoned to the comic room by Mo Tae-rin's surprise call. Unlike usual, when there was no disheveled hair, the disheveled hair and clothes give us an idea of how hurried he was to run."
"The changed atmosphere of Mo Tae-rin and Kim Seok-joo, captured in the church, . . .Kim Seok-joo looks at Mo Tae-rin praying. You can feel [his] affection for [her] in the way he never takes his eyes off [her]. Even if they are different, we are looking forward to where the relationship between Mo Tae-rin and Kim Seok-joo, which is so different, will go."

"The production team said, "In episode 11, the romance between Mo Tae-rin and Kim Seok-joo, who have entered each other's private lives, deepens. The unpredictable-to-tat romance between the two will create a different kind of excitement."

For all fans of the adorable, sparkling, witty "second" couple (pffft, they are the OTP in this drama - tell me why I'm wrong), JTBC released still cuts for Episode 11. I adore this particular couple - my one and only thus far in 2025.

Photos involve a "comic" room (???) and one is set in a Catholic church. Spoilerish quotes from article posted below

https://sports.donga.com/ent/article/all/20251009/132528228/1

From a different article:

"Minor quarrels, witty conversations, and serious peeks will intersect, stimulating the emotions of viewers on weekend nights."

Does feel like this is going to be a weekend ruiner. I hope I am wrong and we get the miracle cure.
Maybe a two weekend ruiner? There will be only one episode (#11) this Friday (10/10) and the final episode will be Friday Oct. 17. No reason given, but sometimes tweaks or add-ons are a reason.

I view it as a good sign - they can't stretch out Sunwoo Hae's death spiral over two full episodes, so I'm hoping he's off to that clinical trial.

It would be a great plot twist if grandpa is not actually dead and that he set this whole thing up to see what…
I've only watched first 20 minutes and I like the lawyer character. Probably because I like the actor. The ML/hero is already boring. Not sure if this is the right drama for me, but I'll keep at it for a couple of episodes.

I agree with the premise, but he technically wasn't a minor. He was 19 in the HS scenes, and that's when you legally…
Sorry to nit-pick, but the JTBC website states he was actually 20 (in Korean age) at the time, presumably because he missed a year due to his illness. In Korea, high school seniors are "19" years old based upon the year they were born, not their actual birthdate. It's very confusing to anyone who uses standard international age protocols.

I'm so happy for our second couple ๐Ÿ˜ญ
They are one of the loveliest kdrama couples of my (limited, lol) experience, but apparently this writer is known for last minute "break-ups/rushed reconciliation" of 2nd couple while he focuses on the on/off/on/off main couple. Which has been the status quo thru-out this drama.

Instead of endless angst w/main couple, I would have wished for a few more - just a FEW more - minutes of their high school years. Also, while we saw Tae-rin fantasizing/remembering Seok-ju many times, we didn't receive anything close to that to explain Seok-ju's recent pivot in his feelings towards Tae-rin.

My final rating of this drama will depend TOTALLY on how they handle the 2nd couple. Right now (and from the beginning) I have been at 6โญ.

Since Seok-ju saw the pamphlet, I'm still holding out hope that Seok-ju will investigate the clinical trial process and discover that a sibling can make a difference because I am also holding out hope that they are half brothers. ๐Ÿ˜Š

My Ep 9/10 recap: Mo Tae-rin and Kim Seok-ju are the most charming, refreshing couple of kdrama 2025.๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’•

Oh, and it's clear why the director chose Seo Ji-hoon for the 2ML role (the last one he filled). Full range of different emotions in this episode and he was terrific.

As for the rest, I honestly can't tell why the writer felt compelled to write this drama.

Overall themes seem to be "does anyone remember the first snow of the first season" and "Just one stone slipped out, but everything crumbled". Those phrases are repeated over and over again throughout the drama (starting in high school) so perhaps everything will be connected in the last episodes.

The 2nd Couple "Turning Point"

"On the 2nd, 'My Youth' released a photo of Lee Joo-myung (Mo Tae-rin) and Seo Ji-hoon (Kim Seok-joo) just before kissing.

Lee Joo-myung and Seo Ji-hoon got into a fight without realizing that they were being attracted to each other. In the meantime, the released photos foreshadow a change in their relationship. Seo Ji-hoon's sad face, which rarely shows his emotions, is unusual. Lee Joo-myung comforts him and pats him on the shoulder, making us guess that they are getting closer.

Lee Joo-myung's unstoppable straight line was also captured. Lee Joo-myung, who strides up to Seo Ji-hoon as if he is about to kiss him, and Seo Ji-hoon's expression, which is confused by the unannounced straight line, attract attention.

The production team of 'My Youth' said, "In episodes 9 and 10, which will be broadcast on the 3rd, a decisive turning point will come to the relationship between the two. If you meet, please look forward to what kind of changes will come to those who have been fighting each other."

That's weird because I see them still here in the US.
Maybe because I complained??? But yes, I am now able to watch - but they were definitely not available just an hour ago.

Edited: I can watch on smart TV (with audio) but on laptop, I can only view the episode that is currently on my tv and NO AUDIO. ๐Ÿ˜ขHopefully there is some glitch that will be resolved by Friday.

I'm usually pretty good with my words, but not this time. I should have said: "Korean viewers who watch dramas". ๐Ÿ˜Š

I agree with you about the writing. Reading the official character descriptions has helped me to interpret/sort through the dialogue and figure out character motivation, but many viewers continue to ask the question - why are they doing this? This doesn't make sense (especially CEO's obsession with Chan).

Is there romance between 2nd lead couple?
2nd lead couple is a slow burn romance. She had a crush on him in high school. 15 years later (when the drama begins), fate throws them into each others orbit time and time again, with no plan or intent.

Many viewers prefer them far more than the on again-off-again romance of the OTP/main couple. 2nd lead couple is primary reason I'm continuing to watch the moment the episodes are released.
