like his ensemble with the brown coat and 2 sugar pops (? is that what it is called?)
That photo was from the time he visited the TS Fitness outdoor camp. One of my least favorite episodes. I thought it was "cotton candy", but I'm not sure what it is in Korea.

The new photos are the third and eighth.

Looks like another generic fantasy-romance... no high expectations, but might be nice time killer, depending on…
"Generic". Well, yeah, maybe, kinda, sorta . . . .but Yoo In Soo. YOO IN SOO! It's a Must Watch for me even tho I know there will be heart break at the end. ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

Yoo In Soo cut, curtesy of ENA. Be still my heart. ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

Yikes... I hope it will be subbed!
On my watchlist because of Seo Ji Hoon - one of my very, very favorites. But it was produced/funded independently w/the hope of finding an OTT. I know there is a way of asking Viki to take some of these independent dramas - that may the only way we will get subs. ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

I think Kang Tae Min will be on an airplane soon. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Go Joo Won's agency posted several photos on the instagram with the note "It ain't over until it's over!" Most are from old episodes, but two of them are brand new and they appear to be an airport scene. Plus, TM is wearing a blue shirt (a first?) and patterned tie (another first?). Check out #3 and #8 photos.

If true, I wonder where he's off to???

Def wasn't expecting Jung Kyung Ho's cameo. Was silently screaming inside my head for that brief moment he showed…
I didn't recognize him in the show, but I was just now scrolling through the MDL credits and when I saw his photo I thought - I've seen him before. What a great cameo!

i think this might end up being an unpopular opinion, but i kinda pity jihan. This dude is so incredibly lonely.…
Well, as I'm reading your post, it has 22 "likes", so perhaps not so unpopular after all. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š

He doesn't use family's money. It was said in ep 2(?) that he was successful as an artist as soon as he got to…
Thanks for the clarification. I've been confused by the different siblings and how they fit into the family hierarchy. We WATCHED Ji Han's professional performance but know literally nothing about Do Han except that he's gay, apparently has a boyfriend and he likes to paint. And he doesn't want to run the corporation.

So funny lee do hyun is the realest person who doesnโ€™t care about his family wealth or inheritance so am suprised…
I always find it amusing that when someone makes a comment about a FICTIONAL character (as you did), the knives come out because some viewers take it as a personal insult. I don't understand that - well, actually I do - but I'm always surprised when they think it's okay to attack a REAL person to defend a FICTIONAL character. You defended yourself well. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Wait so they are all siblings! Lool I thought they were cousins and Jihan and dohan were half brothers. Why is…
There seems to be some sort of mystery about Jihan (he's Grandfather's "blemish") although we don't know what it is.

oh yeah, mbc's dailies are very much your typical off the wall soap betrayal, cheating revenge dramas whereas…
I really don't know much about the dailies, but I checked into the prior KBS daily "Elegant Empire" because of the Father Lee actor (Nam Kyung Eup) and it seemed to be all about birth secrets, betrayal, corporate battles, etc. Admittedly, it was about a family - a very dysfunctional family, lol.

Tuesday Trivia

Im Ju Eun (Choi Su-kyung, aka TV Anchor Lady) has been cast in MBC's upcoming (April) daily drama called "Brave Warrior Yong Su Jung".

I have never watched a daily drama and after reading Ju-eun's character description, I won't be watching this one either. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

"Lim Joo-eun adds to the tension of the drama as Choi Hye-ra, the embodiment of desire that is bound by greed and selfishness. A bon-to-bi villain who relentlessly punishes anyone who goes against her with her endless greed and drive to have whatever she likes. Choi Hye-ra's evil deeds are completed with Lim Joo-eun's solid acting skills, which will push the viewers' anger button. "

Most long-term Tae Min fans were hoping for a reconciliation, but I've resigned myself to the fact that the writer…
Su-kyung's only real sin was her treatment of Hyo-shim. As you say, the marriage was a direct result of TV Live Chairman and Dragon Jang meddling. She tried to be a loyal wife (and she was - even after the divorce) so a reconciliation was possible, especially if they had bothered to show some character "growth" like they have with Hyo Shim's family. But apparently it is not to be.

Do you guys think that Taemin could end up with the TV anchor? I don't Taemin to end up alone, and she is suitable…
Most long-term Tae Min fans were hoping for a reconciliation, but I've resigned myself to the fact that the writer used Su-kyung and her father as pure plot devices and nothing more. Very disappointing, but it is what it is.

Especially disappointing because after frequent mentions the divorce "wasn't final "yet", they never bothered to mention it again. Perhaps Korean viewers understood that once she said she was flying to the US, it meant the divorce was final and she would never be mentioned again (even in gratitude for her loyalty to TM). ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

OstentatiousOrchid โ€“ Iโ€™m circling back to a comment you made (2 weeks ago) related to the translation of the word ์˜์ง€ (uiji) which appears between Tae Hee and Kang Jun Bum on the KBS Character Relationship Chart.

You said it โ€œmeans "will; volition; leaning; support; reliance; dependence because there's not much else written for more context.โ€

Today, I did some more checking and found: โ€œIn English, it translates as Will or Volition.. . . .The word mental strength is used in a similar sense.โ€ [Namu Wiki].

So, looking back, perhaps it was a clue all along that Tae Hee, once she had the โ€œwillpowerโ€ or โ€œmental strengthโ€, would be the one to provide the final keys to solving the Daegwallyeong Pass mystery which took the lives of Kang Jun Bum and his wife.

Of course, I must mention that she finally found the courage (โ€œwillpowerโ€) to tell her secret when Kang Tae Min told her that nothing had changed, she would always be his sister. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

Saturday ratings (ep. 46): 18.8. Meh.

Sunday ratings (Ep. 47): 22.1 (tied for 1st).

In reality, the combined ratings of original broadcast AND the # of streaming views on Waave (Korean) would be a better measurement of actual South Korean viewership.

Was that why the music teacher (from the photo that Hyosung has) came to find Hyoshim family. I did not understand…
I'm just glad he was a cheating scum because that means the family can turn their backs on him. I'm really crossing fingers that Hyo-seung will be walking Hyo-shim down the aisle (that is, I'm hoping she doesn't walk down the aisle by herself).

Slight correction - it's been 25+ years since he left.

Ugh I just looked it up and hepatology relates to the liver - and apparently a partial liver donor from a family member is possible.

Unwatchable if that's where they are headed.

Yeah. It looks like it. But they were obvious by not so obvious to make the drama uncomfortable. In Indian dramas…
Volvo and Fantom (golf) have been major sponsors from the beginning and about 1/2 way 60 chicken became major - if there wasn't a scene actually at the restaurant, someone was carrying a bag of chicken to Tae Hee. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š But today, I felt like I was drowning in PPL - THREE Volvos, a long scene at 60 Chicken with their "newest product" and the Fantom rehearsal and fashion show. Not to mention the make-up scene and lengthy time at the home furnishings store. I wonder if Dragon Mom's red handbag was easily recognizable to Korean viewers??
