Patpran still have the best kiss in bl history, no kiss is giving me the same high as the rooftop kiss.
I have come to realise that most kiss scenes we get to see on screen(mainly BL kisses) have "attraction/lust" as the driving force behind them while PatPran rooftop kiss was pure "emotion" which gives more of a true love vibes. The effect of the former may be high in few cases but almost always transient but the latter would stay with you for long.
After watching the emotional rooftop kiss, other kiss scenes, no matter how sensuous, feel flat to me now.
And with that said, somehow it feels like the next move will also be similar to BrightWin starring in a remake.…

Sadly, I don't think that's going to happen. I did hear rumours that the reason the previous production house pulled out was because of VegasPete storyline. They wanted to omit/change it but the author was adamant on using it. So a new production house means they agreed to keep that story intact...

Idc if the perpetrator was not in love, not quite awake, not thinking straight or even PMS-ing! He needs to be punished for it and not rewarded because he realised he was wrong. Adding sweet music to make it seem consensual...😀 I get what you are saying...As far as the book was concerned, I guess the act itself was nonconsensual through and through but they began the whitewashing later...Not sure how it will be portrayed in the show however. They may even follow the sweet music formula to tone it down...who knows?:)
