What the heck did I just watch? Oh gosh, I had so many problems with this episode. Problem 1. Seon Jae finds out…
Well the whole point of this freaking story is that he can change the past. I mean technically nothing changed in the past or very little did, but he literally had it all lined up. I don't understand why he would just show up to the killers house. And I didn't like how the future kept on happening while the past did, that just makes zero sense to me, since they've built up the future and past to be completely separate realities. I thought it would've been better to send Seon jae and JaeYi and possibly killer back into the past. I dunno, I'm just ticked that there's all this build up, and I get this crappily written episode.
What the heck did I just watch? Oh gosh, I had so many problems with this episode. Problem 1. Seon Jae finds out Kwang Ho is in the past...and he just continues to solve the case...? I don't know Jae Yi has her little sad moment...and I was hoping Seon Jae would get the same... Problem 2. Young Ja "I'll testify" Kwang Ho "Wow thanks that will help me solve the case!" Decides to then show up at killers house unannounced...you have solid proof dude! What are you doing??? Problem 3. Chases killer through tunnel, and ends up in future. What is the bloody point in this??????? The killer isn't in the future, he has all the evidence he needs, the only logical (but really overall weak reason) I can see, is that he never said goodbye. I honestly don't understand the point of this ending....it's just more suspense but I feel like it's not leading us anywhere, we're just going around in the same damn circle. Alright vent over, I was just disappointed after waiting for two weeks to get this. If I am misunderstanding, feel free to explain.
It seems that i'm in the minority, but i find this whole show to be highly irrational (pretty much melodrama…
I've seen worse but I somewhat agree with you. A lot of people are calling this show "a masterpiece" or "perfect" and I'd have to disagree, it's a good show and certainly enjoyable, but there are more quality shows. Honestly I'd give it a solid 8 so far.
When you see a drama like this or the defendant you feel so sad that most of the rest of the world won't…
Your post is so on point. I too find it really sad that unless a show is made in America or Britain, it won't get world wide appreciation. And the sad thingg is, Korea is the lucky one, even with their extremely small global following, they still have global followers. I just find it sad that people fail to appreciate other cultures entertainment. When I tell people I watch kdramas they're all like "lol what would they have?" To which I reply "isn't it sort of foolish to think that America is the only one with quality entertainment, surely the rest of the world has fun ways to entertain themselves too" but I agree it's sad that most of the world won't know the gems in Korean TV
Is it only me, or does this drama really plays with people's emotions? And I'm only on the 4th episode!…
Yah, it would be so terrible. But what I love about the show is they add emotion to the cases. It's not just "oh let's find the serial killer" it shows how much the serial killer has really harmed these people (like with the older brother and seonjae) it makes it more real to me.
Oh boy! It's bad! I saw everywhere that it's a "classic" must-watch drama. I took the opportunity…
Oh gosh someone agrees! I feel like this drama promotes abusive relationships, I absolutely hate it. I dropped it after 15 episodes. There are way better dramas than this crap.
Is it only me, or does this drama really plays with people's emotions? And I'm only on the 4th episode!…
I don't know which episode this is, but the episode where the girl gets killed and the brother is talking to the police (sung shik I think) and he says "I asked her if she needed a ride home...she said she was fine" nearly had me crying. I don't know as an older sibling I would feel soooo terrible if I asked my little sister "hey need a ride home?" And she said she was fine, and then the next day I find out she was killed because she was walking home alone. Oh gosh, my heart just broke in that scene.
Is it only me, or does this drama really plays with people's emotions? And I'm only on the 4th episode!…
Oh no girl it does! This show has nearly made me cry multiple times (I don't cry lol) it really gets into the emotional aspect of police work and time travel. I really like it!
Am I the only one who gets disappointed if its the doctor who is the serial killer? It feels like I have seen…
lol it's been used once before. And this is different from I remember you. It's not like he's training Seon jae to be a little serial killer lol. Anyway, I sorta like it. Since no one would suspect him, it's a lot easier for him to tamper evidence. Also, I think it makes it more interesting that one of Seon Jae's only friends his mothers killer, the person he hates the most. Honestly I can't wait for him to find out. Point is, I think it adds suspense. And let's be real kdramas specialize in copying each other
Why, why whyy does Kim Sunjae tell everything to that paramedic =.=
Ok. This actually makes sense. First of all, let's think of his personality. I have somewhat of a similar personality, so I understand him a bit. Before Kwang Ho and Jae Yi, how many friends did he have? The paramedic. Yup, that's it (from our knowledge). Now, let's think of his friendships with Kwang Ho and Jae Yi. With Kwang Ho, did he even acknowledge him as a partner at first? No. He straight up ignored him. It wasn't until he was touched by Kwang Ho that he gave him the slightest bit of attention. And it wasn't until that Kwang Ho literally saved his life, that he considered Kwang Ho a friend. Now let's think of Jae Yi, Seon Jae did warm up to Jae Yi a lot faster but I take that because he connects with her (they're both outsiders) and respects her for her intelligence. We see time and time again with Seon Jae, that he does not open up to people unless he has a reason. Whether it's because he's touched, respect, connects, or needs something, he must have a reason to open up to somebody. So we can safely assume, that in Seon Jae's mind there is a valid reason to trust the paramedic. Maybe it's because he's proved useful in solving cases, maybe it's because he respects him, maybe it's because he's proved a good friend. I don't know, it could be all of those reasons, or just one, or an entirely different reason. But we know from his personality, that there is a reason for him to trust the paramedic. But let's put his personality aside. What is the paramedics job? To investigate bodies for the police. His job alone makes him tight with the police. Of course the police are going to give him details on cases, so he can do a better investigation. So I agree, it's frusturating to see Seon Jae giving all these key details about cases to the paramedic, but it's not just Seon Jae being dumb. If you think about it, it really makes sense for Seon Jae to do this.
