And the whole “she falls into his arms” thing, and the admission that the mom and wife feels like of empty. It’s nice to hear that. I am one of the people who think having kids will automatically fix that issue, so it was a good wake-up call. Basically, I liked the whole episode. I think I might watch it twice and pretend it airs twice a week, although I’m glad the slow pace ensures we can savour it for longer.
Another great episode! The conversation between the three FLs had me wheezing within the first ten minutes! Another highlight is the ML and the FL whispering to each other in the restaurant- I don’t know why it felt so goosebumpy to me, but it did! It’s just the casual intimacy of it. Also, the bathroom incident reminded me of The Boy Next Door, which I love, and the plot with the criminal was well-done too! I like how they’re flipping tropes on their head like that.
I can relate with you...but I guess that mouse was worth millions so it was crucial to save him..but isn't it…
I’ve seen scientists who do pre-clinical testing on rodents get attached to them and care deeply for their welfare. And these people aren’t even doing anything like that. They’re just trying to get the mice to reproduce. So in any case, it’s not illogical to form a connection.
I'm sorry, but I really don't understand the hype. This is one of the most overrated dramas of 2024 along with…
Agreed. I enjoy seeing them together on screen but man, are they stupid. Can't wait for the hype to settle down and the binge watchers to provide more balanced commentary. I do think that if I'd watched this show all at once, I wouldn't have liked it as much.
Daniel had very little screen time compared to other cast so far. Hopefully we will see him more in upcoming episodes.…
Despite the fact that they haven’t interacted that much, they’re very comfortable with each other. Can’t wait for the ~awareness~ to set in! Although I’m sure they’ll be funny there too!
Unpopular opinion ahead: I didn’t like this episode, and the emotions didn’t hit me because of the glaring plot hole of how PDJ could be in the dark about the real killer/Fake PSE, like did he never once ask his accomplice, what’s in it for you? It’s just stupid. I don’t expect a show like this to be realistic, and in some ways, I’m glad it’s not, but it has to make sense in whatever world it’s set in. This didn’t. There were also some weird moments, like how they both rush to PDJ’s side when the real PSE is right there. Also, they’re dragging it out way too much. I personally wanted more romance and less car chases towards the end. We all know it’s going to work out anyway, so this feels like wasted time.
The scenes with the 2ML and FL were cute though. I really liked their acting.
Overall, I think the acting is great, but the plot has definitely slipped. People are currently in the “best drama ever” phase, but once that dies down, there will be a lot more nuanced critique of this show.
Also, I’m not hating on anyone, this is a forum for opinions, and I’m sharing mine.
