I finally finished this today. I even watched the extra episodes and behind the scenes clips. Who knew they were such goofballs in real life lol. I can’t wait for season 3, although I still hope they get to solve cases. I don’t really care for all the palace drama and I’m glad season 2 didn’t focus too much on it. But the build up for season 3 will be all about the palace drama. le sigh. I never will understand why people are so power hungry. This will put Lu Lingfeng especially in a position he doesn’t want to be in. I really hope all cast members return and that the new season will entertain us more than the previous seasons have. Well done to the cast and crew for this show 👏🏽

I’m starting episode 28 now but does anyone know why there are no more actor credits after episode 27? I see the slave seller in episode 28 is the villain in White Cat Legend, and I think all the episodes are out now. Wondering why they stopped listing the actor credits? I’m sure they have at least 2 more cases to solve before the show ends.

No it has nothing to do with her one sided crush. she’s very immature and talks and thinks so negatively, especially during finals. I wish she wasn’t so mopey all the time because everyone around her is happy.

Have you watched more episodes or are you done watching this? FL was cute in the beginning but then somewhere down the line I kept skipping her scenes. She became almost insufferable as the show progressed. The 2 main leads and the monitor/best friend is why I stayed.

Started episode one last night, not knowing it was a prequel to The Blood of Youth. I didn’t get to finish TBOY and had placed it on hold a couple months ago 🫣 I finished episode 10 of it, but should I finish Blood of Youth before continuing Dashing Youth?

Finished this drama. Very cute although there were some slow parts. It’s only 14 episodes so very binge watchable. I liked that all the misunderstandings and bad people didn’t take up a majority of the show and were resolved pretty quickly. The last episode was cute especially towards the ending. It really is a story of destiny ❤️

I need to keep convincing myself this is not a BL and just a bromance between two guys who have crushes on each other 🫣😉

I’m watching him in Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty and he’s such a great actor. Too bad that was his last role. I hope he gets more exposure in the future because for him to play 3 different characters is brilliant.

Started episode 16 and a new case but I already miss the actor who played the triplets. He did such a great job playing 3 identical people with 3 distinctively different personalities. I hope he gets more roles in the future. The good triplet is my favorite side character so far.

I hope it gets better. I want to start season two but I want to finish this first. I do see she’s in season two 🙃 but hopefully she does get better like you said. I don’t like when mystery shows throws in a random romance. If I wanted to watch romance, I would. But sometimes I like mystery and if a relationship overshadows the plot, I’ll lose interest. Hopefully I can finish this by the weekend and start season two.

Saw season two of this on iQIYI and it looked interesting so I’m starting season one now. I’m on episode 8 and I’ve seen a lot of comments on here and on iQIYI saying the FL is annoying and so far she is. I don’t know what it is about her but she didn’t have to be in this drama and it would have made it better. Maybe I’ll like her later but so far this obsessed girl with her one sided crush is making me like her less and less. The only one I really like is Su Wuming and Fed. ML is kind of cocky and rude but I like the actor from Love in Time. I hope he matures and it really turns out to be a great bromance.
