Seeing preview of episode 39 makes me want to cry. Did they really need to kill off Zhuge?? I may not like the actor’s character in his other simultaneously airing drama Blossom, but I love his character in here 😢 on a side note, I have a love/hate relationship with Prince Bai. When he’s nice and good, his relationship with Yingying could be so cute. But then his obsession with her irritates me to no end. There were cute moments in episodes 35 and 36. He’s such a gray area villain, unlike Niu who is straight up evil and power hungry. If Zhao could change, hopefully Prince would change too (wishful thinking lol). Manifesting a drama with Seven Tan and Jing Chao as main lead couple in the future 🙌🏽

After episode 32 and the previews for the upcoming episodes, I swear if they give us a sad ending… enough with the C-Trauma for 2024, please! 🙏🏽😫

They were already promised to each other when they were younger but his mom doesn’t like her and wants them to break up. Evil Niu lady threatens Zhao with Yingying’s life by telling him to marry her. So Zhao breaks up with FL supposedly to protect her but he doesn’t give good reasons why. He later becomes obsessed with power to try win her back but it doesn’t work. He eventually marries Niu lady in episode 11.

yes. she is the worst of the worst. She claims to be innocent but she’s jealous and tries to divide everyone. She was the only bad thing in this drama lol.

The girl best friend of FL. She likes ML but he doesn’t like her and told her so. 2nd ML has a crush on FL but hasn’t told her since ML is also his friend and he notices how close they are.

Still confused on why Jing Chao’s name on here doesn’t match his name in the drama. I understand it could be an alias but they usually put 2 names or more if he has one, but it doesn’t mention Mr. Bai on MDL. A lot of dramas list multiple names if an actor plays them, but in this one, it doesn’t so I’m really confused now lol. Unless it updates later? I just hope he’s secretly a good guy and doesn’t sabotage anything.

Oh makes sense now. I heard ZHW was in trouble legally but I had no idea he was the original actor. Interesting they did AI with his face. Do you know whose voice they used?

So I’m looking at the cast again and why does it say Zhao Ziu Yuan has a face AND body double?? They just added body double today because it wasn’t there last night? And why does it say his face is AI? I’m so confused 🤔

A pretty good youth drama ruined by one character. I understand when you’re young and in high school, you tend to be immature and a bit naughty, but after 10 years, you would think people would change for the better. But no, that witch Ruolei still got a happy ending with Fan Yuan. Even though she lied and told everyone they were still together, and her snide comments towards Xiami. Even the so called mean girl Yu Han changed her ways (honestly wanted her to end up with monitor, not that stupid witch). Other than that, drama was good for what it was. I have never seen ML act in anything before, but he’s such a good actor. You could feel his emotions through the screen. He was definitely a green flag. Heck, he was a whole green forest. Although it’s no WIFTY and he’s no Rang Rang, he really loved Xiami and protected her even in secret. If they have a second season, which is rare, I would like to know the new 10 year promise they made. And hopefully Ruolei ends up alone and Fan Yuan and Yu Han ends up together lol.

This is good, except for one character who hasn’t changed since high school. Beginning starts off in the present then 90% of the show is their life in high school. Something happens to ML so he and FL haven’t seen each other in 10 years. Not really breakups since they never dated, and since they can’t show kissing in high school, they had some cute moments and kisses as adults. Overall I give it a 7.5

That part of putting them together again was so stupid. She still has not grown up and manipulated everyone to get her way. She should not have had a happy ending.

She was the worst part of this whole drama! He was ready to go back to Germany but of course she comes back with a sob story and he forgives her. Even in the last scene with them, she looks so bored reading. it’s like they have nothing in common. I wanted her to be alone for all the bad things she did. She’s a liar and a thief and uses people for her own gain.

I wanted her to end up alone! Monitor is too good for that evil witch.

Monitor is too good for her! I was so upset she got a happy ending ugh. Even in the last scene when they were reading you could tell she look bored. I don’t even think she likes him, she just wants to be loved. That ruined the show for me lol.

I’m watching on iQIYI and it’s auto generated subs and sometimes the words repeat or doesn’t make sense. it sucks but I kind of get the gist of what they’re saying

There are cute moments but since they’re in high school, they can’t show puppy love. I think when they grow up they can show real romance.

No I don’t think she will end up with him if you see episode 19 and later. but yeah, she didn’t apologize to anyone. I’m glad Ruoxi is cautious of her. I don’t even think she likes the monitor, she just wants what Xiami has. She’s not a good friend or good person.

That part where they made up so fast pissed me off. That girl is trouble and she’s always looking for sympathy but at the same time doesn’t want people to feel sorry for her because she’s poor. Not only is she a thief but a liar. And she hasn’t paid back Xiami her $30 for the school fees or replaced the other girl’s face cream or paid back the other girl’s school card. I hope they all cut her off for good.
