This drama is over a 1/3 of the way done, but why is the cast listing not being updated 🥲At least with the last 2 seasons, they listed the guest roles and what episodes they were in.

So glad to see him back in Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty season 3, even though they haven’t listed his name yet in the credits

I finally finished this masterpiece and wow. Kudos to all the actors. I know whatever timeline they were going to end up in, sacrifices were made. I wish it could have been a happy ending for everyone but it was impossible and that’s why I’m torn at the ending. I wish this has more recognition because everyone did an amazing job, from the actors to the director and even the costume designers for capturing 90’s style perfectly. I wish I could wipe my memory and watch this over again. I would rate this more than 10 if I could.

I guess that makes sense. I saw a lot of the same main cast and was excited for a second season but it’s not really a continuation. I still think it has a lot of funny moments like first season though.

So we have some of the same cast as the first season but they’re playing entirely different characters? Why call it Hilarious Family 2? Very confusing. I remember Jackie’s character in first season being very nice and meek but in just the first episode she’s so brash and boss like. I will still watch it because I love her and Ren Hao’s chemistry but I wish they would have named it something else because the plot is so different from first season.

Oh he’s in Journey of Legend now. I have yet to start watching it but I hope it’s a big role.

Finally getting around to watching this (on episode 4), and the crown prince reminds me of a young Tan Jianci. They have a similar face. I don’t know who is good and who is bad and although I’m hoping for a happy ending, I don’t want to get my hopes up.
