The plot is plotting. More people entering the web of lies and deception. And although that Mr. Ke guy doesn’t seem like a murderer, he’s straight up rude. I hope Zhong and Dalu don’t get caught up in evil Wen Peng’s schemes. On another note, how do they have the same mom? Peng doesn’t seem much older than Cheng Yi, but in the flashback, he looks 10? And there’s no way she would have been pregnant while she was still with Peng’s dad? She didn’t leave her family until later, so the math is not mathing. Unless she’s not the bio mom of one of them? But I love how they’re now investigating Deng Man’s death and how Professor Yu is being suspicious of Wen Peng. Just hope she isn’t his next victim.

Give it a try. She is a strong independent woman who doesn’t rely on anyone. Some may think she’s not thinking straight because she tries to do things on her own, but it’s because she doesn’t want to get anyone involved. The actress Sun Qian is one of my favorites and she almost always plays strong characters.

That’s true But people shouldn’t assume that just because a couple has chemistry on screen doesn’t mean they have chemistry off screen. Or maybe producers wanted them to hang with other people, who knows. But Sun Qian’s boyfriend is also an actor so he knows it’s just a job at the end of the day.

I thought it was based on a novel but wasn’t sure. I’m preparing for a sad ending although hoping for a happy ending.

Oh I haven’t watched that episode but I did see a clip and they weren’t interacting much. Their behind the scenes stuff of this drama is cute but not sure why they weren’t interacting much? It makes me want to go back and watch her episode with her rumored boyfriend Chen Jingke. I love how she kind of confessed why she chose him over the others was because she liked him and he asked her which she likes better, his character in Islands or his real self. She said Chen Jingke and he seemed so happy. Whenever I feel down I watch cute clips of them on TikTok lol.

I think he is a little creepy and weird but I think if he wasn’t obsessed with our girl, he would actually be a nice guy. I don’t get why the second leads can’t take a hint that they don’t want them? I mean Chengyi straight up told her he’s not interested. But Wen hasn’t even confessed his feelings and Lu Yan is so oblivious to his crush. Aiyiyi these 2 obsessed second leads need to date each other and leave our couple alone.

To her, it was probably just an ordinary day and she was just helping out her senior. She couldn’t have known this moment would make him so obsessed with her. I think after 8 years, she would have picked up clues on his feelings for her, but she’s too blind or not willing to be in a relationship with him. Just hope 2nd ML doesn’t become more obsessed and dangerous. He genuinely seems like a nice guy when he’s not fawning all over her.

The previews for episodes 11 and 12 make me feel so bad for Lu Yan. Jusr when she thought she found happiness again, her haunting past catches up to her. So the masked female who drowned Qianqian was the same girl in the parking garage recording that stalker and the girl who likes Chengyi? I thought since she wanted to 🔪the bad guy, she might have been good. I’m curious now if what she did to Qianqian is what she did to Deng Man back then and why she hates Lu Yan so much? Can’t be another admirer of Chengyi could it? Anyways I binged 6 episodes today and can’t wait for me. I thought the trailer for the drama was cute but I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular, but I can’t seem to stop thinking about how good this show is. I’m usually not a fan of lots of flashbacks, but in here, I don’t mind. I’m hoping for a happy ending 🙏🏽

It’s so nice to see actual kiss scenes in the early episodes, even if it was a flashback. Their relationship was so cute and I loved that he wanted to get married to her after only dating for a month. I love how brave she was by using (probably fake medical advice) to stop hiccups is by kissing and how she initiated it and when the hiccups still hadn’t stopped, he said something about the dosage wasn’t enough and they start kissing again 😘🥰 I am curious though about why they broke up (gonna start episode 3). Anyways, I’m glad we had a proper kiss scene with no interruptions and how we didn’t have to wait until the drama was halfway over before spoiling us with cute romance, unlike most dramas. I am enjoying it so far. Hoping for a happy ending.
