I’m starting episode 10 now and there’s still no subtitles, even when people commented on the video asking for subs 😢 It’s okay, I’m going to watch it raw and hope that I can still follow along with the plot. I’ve watched enough Cdramas to understand some words and phrases lol. Even if there are subs one day, I probably won’t rewatch the episode. I hope you find good subs one day 😊

Oh no! I’m on episode 7 now and will probably marathon it this weekend. Are you watching on iQIYI? Hopefully subs will be on when I get to that episode.

So far I like it. It’s not super popular but it’s fine. The only problem I have is the AI generated subs. If you can get past that, you would enjoy it.

So I started this on a whim and although I wasn’t really paying attention to the first episode, from the second episode on, it gets sooo much better. It’s a mix of historical and modern where they still have an emperor and eunuchs and concubines, but it’s also set in the turn of the century with cars and electricity and reporters. Very interesting concept. And it might seem like it’s just about cooking and food just by the title alone, it’s more about palace drama and conspiracies. I don’t know the ML and FL (maybe I saw FL in another drama, but I haven’t seen ML before), but their acting is great. They have morals and are not afraid to stand up for themselves and others. Only a couple of times the FL annoyed me because she was acting ungrateful and childish, but I guess living in a place with so many rules and people out to get you, I understand why she acts the way she does at times, although she’s directing her anger towards those trying to help her. I only watched up to episode 6 so far and even though there’s not a lot of big stars in here (I do recognize some of the minor characters from other dramas) it’s still a very interesting show. The only gripe is the AI generated subs 🫠 I mean it could be worse and have no English subtitles at all, but it does get annoying when the subs repeats itself a lot. In the meantime, I do recommend watching this. So far there’s little to no romance, but the action and fighting scenes are top notch. Can’t wait to continue watching this this weekend.

Thank you Facebook memories for showing me what I watched 6 years ago. I’ve been trying to remember the name of this drama, and all I remember was the childish characters and bad acting. All the time I was thinking if it was a Taiwanese drama because I remember it having a lot of episodes (60!) and a silly plot, which a lot of Taiwanese dramas tend to be. Now that I finally recall this drama, I will remember to never watch it ever again lol.

I want to continue but episode 4 has no English subtitles so I watched it raw, hoping it was just that episode. Then I started episode 5, and after realizing it still didn’t have subtitles, I stopped. I don’t want to start every episode just to see if there are subs.

this was pretty good for a short drama. The cast is pretty much unknown to me, like a lot of short dramas. But it had a lot going for it, for the first season. I have been trying to look online for season 2 air date, but can’t find anything 😢 if there is a second season, I hope all the cast members return. I would like to see more of ML. He’s very handsome and I love his voice especially when he’s mad or giving orders lol. If anyone in the future sees this and knows when and if a season 2 is coming, please let me know. Thanks in advance 😊

What a funny drama ruined by an ambiguous ending! Don’t get me wrong, the drama itself is hilarious and has hints of BL, but not really since they’re in each other’s bodies, but if you plan on watching it, be prepared for lots of laughs, especially when the ML is in FL’s body. The ending could have been better or could set us up for a second season, which I doubt, so just leave it up to your imagination. And like someone mentioned before, don’t expect romance. It would have been nice, but it’s more of a revenge plot. I’ve seen ML before but everyone else is new to me. I wish they would at least give us the second ML’s name because he is handsome and I loved his character.

lol half of the comments says it’s good and the other half says it’s bad. I still have dramas I’m currently watching so maybe when I have time I’ll watch maybe the first couple episodes to see how it is. Thanks everyone for your input 😊

I was so tempted to watch this but after seeing the low reviews, I’m kind of wary. I have watched My ID is Gangnam Beauty years ago and liked it because it was my first Cha Eunwoo drama, but is this remake that bad?

I haven’t watched a cute BL in awhile and it’s very rare to see a cute Thai BL since they’re mostly sexy and raunchy, but this one so far is so cute. I’m only on episode 4, but their back and forth banter is cute to me. I hope it doesn’t go downhill from here because they are so cute together 🥰

I liked this more than I thought I would. Although the subtitles and audio cut in and out, and the flashbacks come out of nowhere, it was still a solid 7 for me. I wish there was a better ending or a second season. And that MDL would update the cast info. I couldnt find it on Youku but I did find it on YouTube. Just search by the title name.

it’s been a hot minute since I’ve watched a Thai drama and I forgot how over the top zany it is, in a good way. I’m starting episode 3 and all the backstory and secrets are coming out. this is what I miss about some Thai dramas. I wish Netflix hadn’t taken away most of their Thai dramas because the only other place I can watch is Viki or iQIYI and 95% of it are BL dramas. I like cute BL dramas but Thai dramas are very forward and controlling when it comes to relationships (I’m looking at you Love By Chance and that straight up r*pe scene). Can’t we just get goofy stuff like this mixed with a bit of mystery?

I was more interested in the second couple that never was. I think I would have been more interested in their storyline but they never explored it when they could have. I’ve seen my share of humans turning into animals dramas, but this is probably my least favorite. FL had a baby voice and ML always looked so angry and annoyed. I liked the second pair more. Their personalities were better and the director could have explored them more instead of giving us unnecessary scenes.

I think for some people it can be a little scary but it’s so interesting. Think if Squid Games met Supernatural met Us (the Jordan Peele movie). It’s very interesting. I’m on episode 15, so I’m halfway there. If you decide to watch it and you get scared easily then watch it in the daytime. it’s not so scary that it will give you nightmares. There’s a creepy factor to it but it’s all controlled by people, no ghosts or anything except in the game?

Finally finishing up 19th Floor. I’m used to seeing Miles Wei in modern dramas lol jk.

Yes, it does get a little raw and emotional and you kind of don’t know whose side to take but there is a happy ending although rather abrupt. Enjoy watching 😊
