I am caught up to ep 30. That "pregnancy" she faked to try and prove Qiao killed the first wife (her sister). They did finally get their first kiss though. And they did get their cuddle on (with the kid sandwiching ShiYi).

She faked it. Although I loved the conversation Lingyi had with ShiYi over it.... "If you want kids, I can certainly help with that" made me giggle. Clearly Lingyi wanted to get it on, but I'm happy he is so respectful of Shiyi's boundaries instead of pushing her to do it. As he is well within his rights to especially during those times. As we see all the mothers keep reminding ShiYi, "having kids and taking care of your husband is your only duty "

That's the mystery everyone is trying to solve. Currently they have only given red herrings, nothing definite.

That was also my theory. When the step mom found out that shiyi was "pregnant" I thought for sure she was going to mess with the meds so she aborts. The stepmom looked so worried!

The stepmom wants her to curry favor. But doesn't want her to get pregnant, in fact the step mom forced her maid to curry favor as any children of the maid would be deemed illegitimate thus will not so not threaten her grandson.

I'm pretty sure it's because she doesn't want to get pregnant because the son from the first wife. I known the step mom was super worried that if she got pregnant than Zhun ge will have competition for becoming the heir. But I hear your frustration, I too think they should get it on!

She made a mistake, and she readily admits to the mistake, not to mention that she was lead to believe that Lingyi was who killed her mom, so of course she's not going to readily tell the suspect all. That divorce letter is Lingyi's way to keep her safe. When the grandma was giving her a hard time (as Lingyi expected would happen), instead of taking out the divorce letter and walking away to avoid any punishment, Shiyi takes the punishment without complaint as repentance. Overall, I think the main leads have a very healthy relationship, there's a lot of respect and trust there. And right now in everyone's eyes they are still very much married. I have my suspicions as to who is the mastermind behind all this!

I may be in the minority but I found the last few eps to be really draggy. I feel like the last 8 episodes could have been condensed into 3. 1 ep for the proposal, 1 for competition and 1 for wedding. Overall it was a enjoyable drama, but I found the GGS1 to have been better.

That's amazing! I'm really enjoying this show, glad they are adding an extra day (aka 2ep a week) to their schedule.

Just very odd, if he was responding to a post, why not respond directly to the post, or message them directly if you have something to say to them directly. It's easy to be taken out of context when you just start making random insults on a drama comment section.

Totally! I told was surprised nobody else had more of an 0o0 expression. But they clearly didn't catch on... I sort of figured out she was a spirit beast pretty early on, seems that with how smart TS was he would have noticed or his teacher would have surely noticed!!

I don't understand what point you're trying to make. How how it is at all relevant to the drama. What is disgusting about hetero love and what on Earth is breeder love? This drama is very much about friendship, and thats the focus for much of the drama. Yes there's some subtle romance, but I don't think up to ep 39 there's been any kissing (nor have I seen people complaining about it here). If you have something constructive to say about the drama go ahead. But if you just want to troll, go somewhere else.

Also want to add, I give props to how much they crammed into one ep! I was seriously worried before thinking how on earth will they resolve all these mysteries in one ep, but it didn't feel rushed or sloppy and I'm satisfied with it unlike so many dramas I've watched that was just plain frustrating. But maybe that's only because I was expecting a cliffhanger as opposed to others where I was expecting a full conclusion.

I thought it wasn't bad. It felt where they stopped was a natural stopping point, like coming to an end of a chapter. Yes there's a cliffhanger, but we were always expecting that going in and in terms of cliffhangers this wasn't too shocking, it felt very much like the first phase of his training is done, and now to move onto the next one. Some of the biggest mysteries was resovled (who was behind all the crazy attacks/schemes, who wins the tournament, who was Tan Sang's mom, and XW's identity). I'm looking forward to there being a second season (hopefully they will get the green light and can get XZ back) and we won't have to wait too long to see part 2. In the mean time I may give the donghua (it doesn't feel right calling it anime) a try .

Wonder what happened to him within his company. I thought he was fantastic (breakout newcomer) in legend of fuyao, and thought for sure he would go on to star in other dramas. But seems like he hasn't made any headway since (didn't really care for him in king's avatar). The new bald look is a shock though, but he got the looks to pull it off!

Ditto! I don't understand why grunt doesn't just tell his mom. Like why is he still trying to protect the ex in his mom's eyes? When it comes to his gf and his ex, it's way more important to protect his gf!!! Especially since he can see that the ex is just being manipulative, why on earth is he just letting his mom be manipulated?

Caught up to ep33, can't believe only 7 more eps to go. I feels like that's not enough to eps to finish off the story (like there's a lot of unanswered questions that needs resolving). I know there's a season 2, and of course there's the novels (which I haven't read), but where do you think they will end up at the end of this season? Does he find his dad, who the big bad is? How does HLN play into all this as she's sort of disappeared in the last few ep. There's just so many plot points that needs closing off, and without any details for season 2, I'm hoping it's not just a unsatisfying cliffhanger. I'm still waiting for Fight Break Sphere S2 to resolve that cliffhanger!!!

I also found his voice to be lower than I expected... It took some getting used to as I've heard him in interviews and his voice seemed somewhat higher in them. Still I wonder if we'd feel weird with his voice if he started with his own voice (like in the untamed), so in a way I'm glad that we do get to hear his own voice? Maybe the voice coach told him to talk in a deeper tone?

Yes that was quite the bombshell, but still trying to figure her out.
