I couldn't pass of episode 7 and i've spend almost 2 weeks on episode 3... Unfortunaly i can't get the hype not…
I understand you, I couldnt care less about few first episodes, however in second half, I fell in love with drama and watched last 20 episodes in 3 days :) I would recommend to give it a second chance, but I will leave it up to you ;-)
Can someone tell me if I can watch this drama, without seen Eternal Love before?
It should be based on Pillow book, so separate from Eternal Love Drama, so Yes, it should be okay to watch. Anyway, I recommend to watch also Eternal Love, because it is very good drama, actually my favorite C-drama (I saw it several times :D).
Just wondering, did u finish watching all the ep or just at some point in the middle?
I agree with ten miles of peach blossom. It was drama which made me love chinese production and I cant count how many times I watched it. It is good for start if you are not that familiar with chinese dramas yet, it was one of the first for me as well.
Yes, it is kind of funny, how he always says same things to Juda, and is behind other characters. He is still in his school rom-com, while other characters are now being serious.
The writer keeps making Namjoo say "My girl" he always says that only on stage
Yes, I know it happens only on stage and Namjoo is only saying what writer wants. I am not acusing Namjoo as character himself, but more what he's representing. You know, he should be the 'typical' male lead, type of character which was given to us for years in dramas like bof and shown as how romance should look like, when I only see toxic relationship. What makes me happy, that FINALLY in this drama and also some others we are shown it is not okay and people should be in healthty relationships as shown by Haru and DanOh. At the same time I am happy we see Juda's character development, because in dramas like bof, often female lead are written as 'strong', but it only mean she is at first angry with male lead and shouts at him for his stupid and arogant behaviour, he falls in love with her because she is first woman tha is is angry at him but then later in drama, she is not able to do anything without his help.
Those of you complaining about the OST obviously couldn't survive Boys Over Flowers! For almost a year after,…
Love is a moment from Heirs was THE worst OST for me, still in my head after years. And well, Almost Paradise is at this point classic, I laugh everytime it plays (can't cry anymore, not enough tears).
Is it kind of weird that I want Juda to be ALONE at the end so she can show she does not need men to be great woman?
Anyway, I still ship her with Dohwa because he wants her to be herself and live for herself and supports her, opposite what is Namjoo doing. Just look at their conversations. Namjoo is always talking about himself. How much HE had to sacrifice to be with her. And don't let me start about calling her "My girl" without her permission. It feels, she is just object to him, which is hard to obtain, so it is fun and challenge for him, not that he really cares for her.
Overall I love Juda's character development, YOU GO GIRL!!!!
THIS And the fact moments in "Flower" Shadow repeat in "Secret" Shadow show in the end writer is the one wrote…
Makes me think deeper, what is actually in our life really our own decision? As we see, even in shadow, where they thought they are free, they might be still just puppets of writer.
and.. that one scene with namjoo saying my girl... PLEASE MAKE IT STOP I BEG lmfao its so cringyyy
Same, as if it was not enough, he was calling her "My girl" so many times in korean, he had to say it in english as well... I don't care how many languages he will use, I hate it everytime. *shivers*
this drama is a surprise and is really well written, but there is a plot point that concerns me: the story repeating…
I think what is repeating word by word is stage part of old manhwa, but at the same time, characters of Haru and Dan Oh became self-aware and wants to be free from original story in both old and new manhwa, so in that sense, it is also repeating itself.
I would recommend to give it a second chance, but I will leave it up to you ;-)
