That is so nice to know, I always feel I am so lucky and happy, because I have a mom, which likes to watch dramas with me :) Overall, I love sharing stories about her discovering drama world. :)
I am not really sure if she was crying, since I was focusing on watching, but I don't think so. She is not usually crying when watching movies/dramas.

I can only agree :D I would show her more of his dramas, but she is getting totally lost in costume dramas and it is not really her cup of tea, so I was happy for Oath of Love :) You should have seen her, we watched first 18 episodes (TV version) in one day during weekend :D and after we finished, she was watching his interview and performance videos on youtube :D I must say I am proud as a daughter :D

I know what you mean, as many of us, I fell for him when I saw him for the first time in The Untamed and since then, I watched several of his dramas. I even suggested to watch Chinese idol for him to my mom (I was watching it for the second time) since she likes singing shows. She really liked him, even made a calendar with his photos (we have it in our living room lol) and watched Oath of Love, her very first chinese drama with me for him ^^

I really thought that Oath of Love was planned after he got popular with The Untamed, since he is coupled with Yang Zi, which is also very popular and well-known actress.

Oh, I see. So Duolou Continent was actually filmed before The Untamed aired? I thought he was cast to Duolou after he got popular from The Untamed. Wow, it takes lot of time for Chinese dramas to get on air. Maybe I am just not used to it compared to Korean dramas.

I am just curious, does anybody know reason why it took so long until this drama aired? Since it was already filmed in 2019, why did they air it only now?

I love how every time 2FL tried to trick ML, he instatly knew and he didn't let her catch him in the trap but he did what he wanted to do aka progress with FL ^^

It was nice watch, I like witch concept, but I wish it would have more episodes, so they could go deeper with some stories and character developments.

Also, I was sad about chocolate lady, she deserved better, but again it reminded me bitter-sweetly that this is often the reality in relationships.
