This was awful to watch and I only say that after the 7th episode. Because before, it was an okay watch. Not fantastic, but not awful either. But the whole "You only pity me" thing was too much for me. Also, I didn't like them ending up together. I would've prefered him to end up with Ha Min, it would've probably been more interesting. Anyway, I would've given it a 6 or 7 but after this awful ending I give it a 3...

Finally, someone that agrees with me. I still can't believe that the series is rated 8.4...

So, I can't compare this series with the webtoon, as I never read it, but I really really liked the series. I understand some of the critics, especially the ones that said that Chan Yeong and Ji Yu have unecessary lots of screen time, but I still liked the series. It was a really nice watch.

I was a bit afraid of this adaptation because of the director that destroyed My Love Mix-Up but I actually have to admit he did good with this series. It's not a great series (the original wasn't anyway) but I spent a very good time watching it. It's just a shame that they didn't change the whole wedding thing because it was the thing that I hated the most in the original. As cute as the boss can be, he's a walking red flag and if I understood Mo's feelings after what happened with Heng's mum, I didn't really understand his reasons for breaking up with him.

I absolutely loved this first episode. I've waited for this series since I've watched the first trailer and I'm not disappointed (for now, at least). Love the chemistry between Mark and Ohm and love the premise of this story.
I just have one question, though... Because Mark is casted as Jay on here but in the series, he clearly said that his name was Jway. So, which one is it?

I actually like slow-build relationships as well. But here, it was slow-paced. Nothing really happened in each episode. It was boring...
And I agree with you a hundred percent. Also, I didn't like the way Do Ha emotionnally blackmailed Woo Hyun. The episode in which he asked him to say that he likes him before asking him to kiss him. That was bad...

I was bored most of the time... In my opinion, it was way too slow but some people like that type of series so I wouldn't say I don't recommend it.

Tot&lly agree with what you said. I've waited too many weeks to finally see JuniorMark's story and this first episode was just made up of all the other couples and a couple of scenes that they already showed us. So I really hope to see more of them in the rest of the episodes.

I don't expect first-year-uni characters to be mature but I don't want them to act like little kids either... The guy is in university, not elementary school...
You seem to be new to watching BL (or you haven't updated your watchlist yet) and good for you if you like that type of characters. But after ten years of watching different types of BL (yes, I'm that old), I got sick of them.
Also, I complained about the innocence and childishness of the character, but what really put me off was the stealing shirt scene. It was creepy and unnecessary.
And I highly advise you to watch the series from my profil picture. Because they may be "grown ass men in their super late 20s to early 30s" but the series in which they play is (what people tend to write too lightly nowadays) a masterpiece.

I don't understand the high ratings... Does this series improve over time? Because I couldn't go past the first episode...
I'm just too tired of the overused stereotypical "bottom" character who is naive, innocent and stupid (in this series, in particular) and who acts like a child. Also, the whole "let's steal the "top" character's shirt because I want to redeem myself" when Fah didn't even make a big deal about the accident and didn't want the guy to clean his shirt was so annoyingly over the top...
I don't have time for that type of series that everyone seems to enjoy and I will never understand why... I mean, to each their own, I guess. But this is definitely not for me.

This series was absolutely beautiful. It made me laugh and cry. The scene at the hospital was an absolute masterpiece and I'm not one to cry easily but this scene really made me shed tears. The actors are also very talented, especially Jin Yun as I really thought he was really deaf until the very last scene.

This drama is a gem. I loved how the actors protrayed two characters really in love with each other. What I mean is that they kissed when they needed to kiss and they really showed affection. For example, I loved how Jin held Haruki's jacket when they were talking on the beach. That's really how couples act towards each other and I absolutely adored it. Same when Jin passionately kissed Haruki in the car when they didn't see each other for a long time. That was so lovely to see.
Anyway, I didn't know it was an adaptation from a Korean webtoon (hence the Korean restaurant in the drama) and I hope they will do more adaptations from Korea, that would be nice.

It was the best episode so far. I loved the little banter between Jun and Po and I loved Thame's jealousy. Jun is definitely my favourite character and I loved how sneaky he was in this episode. I like that Po is not dense about Thame's reactions too. He knows what's up and that's refreshing to have a character like that. Also, this is the first time since I started watching the series that I was more interested in the romance than the whole group problem's plot.

I agree wih most of the comments. This season was honestly very good but the comedy felt a bit forced sometimes. I still enjoyed watching this season.
Also... I'm just going to say that I discovered Sung Joon in this series and oh my... what a handsome man he is!

I totally agree with you but I started losing interest way before you, after episode 4. I found no satisfaction at all watching people suffer like 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor did. Especially 2nd floor as she was the most fair and humane. I hated 8th floor's character so much, she was unsufferable and I wished the worst for her but... nothing. She got nothing at all.
Squid Game is way better in terms of pace, characters, the games are way more enjoyable to watch and, even though, people die horribly sometimes, they aren't tortured over and over again.

I don't know how people can say this is better than Squid Game... This show was mostly boring, the games were not fun to watch unless you're a sadistic who likes to see people suffer and the person that should definitely suffer didn't get anything at all. That was frustrating to watch more than anything...
