Cherry magic was a masterpiece compared to this. I actually liked it a lot. This is horrible.
I agree. Cherry Magic was a very good adaptation compared to this one. I'm so disappointed in this series... Which is a shame because it was one of the series that I was looking for the most.
On My Love Mix-Up! Jun 21, 2024
This episode was better than the last one but there are still things that pose a problem to me. First, the editing : we can see the jump between the two shots when the cat runs out from below the desk. It really feels unprofessional. Second, I absolutely love My School President but I don't particularly like the references to this series in this one. It feels like forced and done just for the purpose to be done. Thirdly (and I may be alone on this one), but I don't like the musical numbers. First, it was the play and now, we have Gemini singing a song while playing the guitar. I know they are singers but they are also actors and this series shouldn't be a My School President number 2. It feels like I'm watching another version of Tinn and Gun. The characters are already similar so I don't want them to sing on top of that...

Episodes two of both this series and the JBL ended the same way: with our main protagonist realizing he's developing…
I totally agree with you. I had so much expectation in that scene as I really love it from the Japanese version but I'm left deeply disappointed with this Thai version... I was baffled when Fourth started to sing and I would've prefered Atom to take the role of Cinderella not this male character that he invented on the spot.
I would also add that I felt really incomfortable that they forced Mudmee into playing Cinderella when she clearly stated she had stage fright. Even when Atom proposed to take her place, he was rejected completely which was weird! At least, in the Japanese version, every character has empathy which helps build the relationship within the class, while in the Thai version, I felt they didn't care about Mudmee at all.

Could someone please tell me how Half and Kongthap are supposed to have similar names? like how the confusion?
I've been wondering about the same thing since they announce this series with the first trailer. At first, I thought the friend would have another syllable attached to his name. But since the official trailer, I've really thought about it as the friend's name was said to be Half. Now, with the scene they showed us about the teacher mixing their notebooks, I think they have the same name but Half uses his nickname. I think we'll have the answer next episode so let's wait!

Funny, I recently finished ep 8 and I’ve been thinking of dropping this since ep 1 lol. Haven’t done it for…
If you manage to finish it, don't hesitate to tell me if I missed anything dropping this show (I don't think I did but just in case).
It's not like I didn't try to give it a chance but, like you, I wanted to drop it since episode 1 but I resisted as much as I could. However, I can't waste my precious time to watch sh*tty series anymore. There are too many shows to watch and not much time to do so, so I have to make decisions.
Anyway, I wish you luck in finishing it! ✊

I was really anticipated to this drama but after first episode I'm a little disappointed... I'll try the next…
You shouldn't be sad, you haven't missed anything. This show is awful.
On Boys Be Brave! May 18, 2024
I absolutely loved this series. I've been invested in the plot and the characters from episode 1. The actors are all very very good and the plot is very interesting to watch. I may just have one complain: there wasn't enough screen time for the second couple and I've been left hungry for more. I don't really understand why they had to wait so many days to see each other again and talk after Balg Eum's confession. They could've talked right on the spot. Also, In Ho knows about Balg Eum's feelings so why not say he also likes him and he doesn't care about his financial situation. I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed with how things turned with them. But overall, I thought this series was great and would probably watch it again.
On Blossom Campus May 18, 2024
That was awful to watch... None of the actors can act (some act better than others but they aren't great), the story is boring (there isn't a plot actually) and even the characters aren't likable (especially Yoon Chan who is really REALLY annoying). 7.1 is still a good rating for this kind of show. I give it a 1 (I spent the whole show on my phone only looking at the subtitles...). People would only praise this show for the kisses but kisses don't make a show. I prefer a show without kisses or with bad ones such as Unintentional Love Story (even though, that's a shame the actors can't kiss properly) but at least, this drama has a good plot, good actors and enjoyable characters...

I've put up with this series for too long... Seven episodes were my limit to drop this series. I actually should've dropped it sooner but I tried to resist as I don't like dropping series. But this show is not interesting enough. Also, Porsche is an awful actor that can't deliver any emotions - it hurts my eyes to watch him try to act. Job is actually ok, but his character that falls in love by just seeing the person in photo is ridiculous. The only character that I liked was Kod. He is funny and witty which made me rethink dropping this series, especially episode 5 when he tried to make Fueang jealous by flirting with Krom. But even his wittiness can't stop me from dropping this show... After watching a scene in which Krom gets angry at Thoo's friends (what a great performance from Porsche...) and a third scene (in only one episode) in which the main leads have s*x. How great of a show...

Another one, they call that dog cafe but not single customer over there. Who do they sell the coffee? For all…
Exactly! There's actually one couple with a dog in one scene, but it's one scene that lasts a few seconds in all the 12 episodes this series has.
I also forgot to point out that Uno doesn't need the translation device (as he understands Korean without speaking it - which I think is weird but let's move on). I never understood why he bothered wearing it.

I forgot to mention the total absence of customers!!! There's only one scene in which we can see a couple with a dog behind Uno but apart from that, you're right, there's no customers at all... So I don't know how the dog café can still be in service...

Toey didn’t know Q/the boy was the one he was exchanging post it notes with, and he didn’t know that boy was…
Oh, okay... Thanks! I thought that Q was clearly pointed out when Oh said that but I misremembered it apparently.

I really like the friendship in that series. The relationship between the boys is more interesting to me than them getting a boyfriend. But I'm confused... Didn't Toey know already who Q was? I swear there was a scene before that showed a flashback of Toey asking Oh who the boy who was drawing was and he told him that he was the one that painted all the paintings of the café. So the flashbacks of this episode doesn't make any sense...
On Love Is Like a Cat May 8, 2024
To be honest, it is not THAT bad to the point I wanted to stop watching the show (as a lot of people did in the comments), but it's not good either. My main problems with the show are:
1) The title is called Love is Like a Cat but there are no cats in the show (only one little kitten that we see for only a minute in episode 1).
2) It is supposed to be a dog café but there's only one dog throughout the show. The worst thing is that the vet told Dae Byeol not to adopt Deok Gu because he already had to many dogs on his hands but... he had actually none...
3) I had difficulty to understand who was the Korean main lead at the beginning and even thought Dae Byeol and the vet were a thing.
4) They did a great job with the translation devices at first but then, they threw the logic away when at the press conference, the three Koreans could easily understand what Uno was saying without the devices and subtitles. And what about the journalists? Can they all understand Thai?
5) There was no reason whatsoever for Uno to go back to film the show for a second season after what happened with the producer.
6) There was also no reason for Gi Min to keep working at the dog café after what he's done. Moreover, I thought he was in love with the vet...
7) There was no build-up with Uno and Dae Byeol's relationship. One day, they didn't like each other and the next, they liked each other. Also, saying they fell in love with each other since the first time they met is a lie.
8) I would add that we don't know who is and what are the motivations of the woman working for Uno's dad. I thought she was just a secretary at first...
You can skip this show if you want, you won't lose anything. But I still think it wasn't a show to drop. There are other shows way worse than this.
On Wandee Goodday May 4, 2024
Loved this first episode. I think we're in for a fun ride. And for those who are complaining about the fact that it is not serious or mature enough... Well... Go watch another show. There are plenty of shows that have those themes.

Not a bad show but I don't think it was well executed. I couldn't grasp the whole story and was left confused from beginning to end (or I'm just dumb).

That hentai/perverted detective trope has really been overused now. It's such a cheap form of comedy, I wish we…
It's part of the character. If they had got rid of it, fans probably wouldn't have been so happy and it wouldn't have been Saeba Ryo. I think people are too easily butthurt nowadays so I'm personally glad that they kept that side of him (I don't even really know the original material). Also... in which films or dramas have you seen a perverted detective like Ryo? Because I can't even name one character that is that perverted in all the films and dramas that I've watched (or it was a very long time ago and I totally forgot).

Why does Ton keep using the female particle “ka”, can anyone explain? Or am I hearing it wrong? (I know less…
I'm wondering exactly the same thing since a few episodes. I thought I misheard at first but you confirmed that I didn't: he's really saying "ka". I feel like it is to sound cute in some situations but he's using it all the time so I don't know.
On To Be Continued Apr 15, 2024
It was a nice series but not excellent. I didn't like the back and forth in the story, it was pretty confusing at times (especially in the first episode). Also, they skipped a lot of things like, when they first met, they were almost ready to fight (mostly Ji) and the next scene with them in the past, they were already best friends, but how did they get there? To be honest, I don't really care but it was strange to see them already friends after their first interaction.
