I am prepared to hand over my very limited cash to buy VIP on WeTV when this drops. Or the video site. If I can figure out how to do so. With any luck the subs will be available on release. If not...hell yes I will watch it raw and pretend I know what's happening while I simply admire the costumes. I am half blind anyway. I need to watch a subed ep twice. Once to read the subs and once to actually watch the show.

🤡 Not necessarily. For a BL they will drop everything at once. I would think they would do it in the late afternoon or early evening (morning my time) since most of the updates for dramas I have noticed have come out around 7-8 am my time on youtube. So...in 8 or 9 hoursish maybe if it's today? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ There are hints it will be, but there are a lot of reasons it might be delayed a bit longer.

I was here. It was very intense (though I believe twitter was more intense then than now). They didn't even drop the full yogurt commercial I thought. They filmed Mo Ran feeding Chu Wanning yogurt, but we got modern posters? I'm sure if they aired the actual commercial I would have seen it somewhere.
@Lilly801 Exactly. I've been disappointed so many times...yet I am still here. I have no actual expectation but I have all the hope and good wishes? (I'm scared for the cast as well if it does come out. They'll have a lot to deal with). So, belief it will actually come this month...20 tops. I'm good at fooling myself.

Good, I suppose, since I do want to drink it all in fresh when it drops and it is frustrating for the actors and company. But they were giving me little glimpses bts and keeping me in anticipation. I don't think that will dwindle any. I confess, I normally don't look up leaks, or follow the actors of shows but I have been for this because I am overeager and literally have nothing better to do. Hello my fellow long haul waiters. For some reason I’m having a ‘something might happen soon’ vibe. But it is just me and my wistfully deluded thinking because I seriously doubt it would air during the summer.
I still have here and twitter open at the back of my tabs all the time as I poke at other things. I see many of the same topics of conversation ongoing. To recap:
1) Stay calm. Put down the knife. Don’t break your desk by flipping it.
2) No one knows when it will air. There have been some setbacks but...
3) Don’t put any stock into rumors you see. Seriously. There’s a lot. Most of them are similar and unfounded. It’s only to cause stress and confusion. When this drops it’ll happen fast without notice. That’s how BL dramas are. Tencent put a lot of money into this. They’re going to want to get it back by airing it (especially if they had to pay their advertising investors because of the delay). Though the last thing I saw were posts saying Tencent was asking people to stop posting leaks, alas that ship sailed, docked and returned ages ago. Tencent is also supposed to release a statement regarding upcoming projects on June 7. Will they mention hyx? Who knows? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ If they do I might go into shock.
4) Please respect the cast and crew who are behind this. I can’t imagine the pressure they are facing right now. Respect each other as well.
5) To those who are still on the fence about reading the novel…*pushes you over* do it (Unless you’re sensitive to any of the triggers then really don’t do that to yourself). Chunks of the novel will not be in the drama. It can’t be. I hope for a good representation of the characters, following the plot line as much as they can (they can’t do reincarnation or time travel really apparently due to censorship...so is it an alternate universe or an oracle like seeing the future since Mo Ran has ‘dreams’? Can they do that? I’m interested to see what they come up with.), and keeping many of the more memorable scenes. Parts will be missed and others will be altered. But they may allude to those parts in the drama without actually showing or mentioning them. To read the book you will be armed with that knowledge and it may add another layer to watching the drama. I will be treating watching the drama and reading the book as two separate entities with many similarities. Also, the book was worth reading. Yes, I do have a few things that bother me about it that I feel weren't resolved, but damn it was a good read.
6) Don't worry about Shi Mei stealing the show. It's about the cat and the dog.
7) I have a strong feeling Rong Jiu will be skipped over.
I am at a bit of a loss. I keep hesitating on starting any other shows or novels because I will be consumed by this when it starts. But I have so much else to do. Give me a sign Tencent, so at least I can schedule. And maybe close all these browser tabs...

ikr? I realize there are no loud open promotions of BL themed dramas. But to have all this stuff quietly (well, not quiet due to the fans) happening can't be a coincidence. There would be no reason to do it unless the show as coming soon. I recall the 20th and 24 also mentioned as rumored drops dates - which doesn't make sense sense most things on Trancent premiere on a Thursday it seems. I doubt either of those days highly. But, I still feel like it may drop in April or May (WoH will finish airing it's last episode to international viewers on May 5th). I will keep checking everyday anyway. Though, if it's not out by end of May, I don't expect to see it until Fall. But with the promotions...I still feel it will be soonish.
