Honestly, bad CGI, props and make-up never bother me terribly if I enjoy the story. I have a very active imagination. It is literally sitting in my tabs open ready to watch. But not tonight, lol.
I also sometimes find it hard to find places that play these dramas. Is there a good site to watch subed dramas for free? I was wanting to watch the Yin-Yang master. I know it's on Netflicks, but I do not have an account. *shrugs*
