I feel like the SFL will end up pregnant with the SML’s baby and she will drug our ML or get him drunk at some…
I agree that they've highlighted the infertility lie a lot. However, I think they may go a different way with it. I suspect that she may turn out to be actually infertile, and later in the story she might try to get SML to claim custody of FL's child because they can't have their own. There are already enough of the main cast having babies. If every female character gets pregnant it's going to be ridiculous.
First of all I'd like to say thanks to those who explained that this is a sort of soap or novela which explain…
This type of drama is usually filmed fairly quickly, and is often not completed when it starts airing, so they are still filming while earlier episodes are aired. Therefore, they don't have the time or budget to make it look as polished as a short drama, and they often re-use sets and props from previous dramas. This one isn't actually too bad. Some of them are much worse. Just don't expect perfection, and concentrate on the characters and storyline.
Well, it wouldn't be a Kdrama weekender without an evil female character. And aren't we lucky? This drama has…
He may not be a female, but I'd add the nosey teacher to the list of completely evil characters. To dig out her personal belongings and destroy her entire career just so that he can become the top teacher makes him as awful as the grandmother and the plotting second female lead. How can we plausibly get all three of them to stand in line in the middle of the road, ready for the white truck?
I’m confused. The synopsis says he enters into a fake “relationship” with FL? How is he suppose to do that…
That marriage (ML/SFL) is obviously not going to happen. She might get him right to the altar, but something will happen to stop it. (See the angry "bride"/smashed-mirror moment in the ep 5 preview...) I suspect either evil SFL will slip up somewhere and accidentally reveal to ML how cunning she really is (perhaps he'll discover that the infertility is a lie), or ML will discover that Miss Evil is the one SML was cheating on FL with. Alternatively, FL's family will be so nasty to her in the next episode that ML will decide that he'd rather marry her to protect her and the baby. Of course, it's possible that all of the above will happen. Either way, it seems fairly certain that next week there will be a failed attempt at a wedding, and the fake marriage between ML and FL will be decided.
That’s an obvious reaction. Didn’t he told that even her reaction was the same. It is not easy being a single…
Yes, that was why I was surprised at his reaction. His sister is practically bringing up the child he had at 18 (probably convincing her mother not to have an abortion) and he's turning on her. I do wonder though, whether he's being harsh because he thinks he should, but deep down he sympathises. When he gave her the list of clinics, he did look really worried for her. Perhaps he didn't have any choice in whether his daughter was born or not, and had the baby suddenly dumped on him? That might explain his attitude.
I know this is a long makjang. But I want Tae Kyung to try and take over the company on the future.
I don't. He seems to be a good doctor, and I really don't want this drama to go down the "the ML must be a rich CEO" route. I hope his family learn the error of their ways and begin to run the company well themselves.
Okay so ep2 ending…isn’t it weird that he couldn’t find the baby on the ultrasound?Cause in a previous scene…
As someone else said, I think he's pretending not to see them, in order to find out whether she will be relieved or sad, which would clear up whether she really wants the abortion. He could see that she came into the medical centre in a highly emotional state - not really ideal for making such a huge decision, and his job involves taking care of hormonal women. He knows if he just sits her down and talks to her, it won't work right now. That would certainly explain the part in the ep 3 preview where it looks like they're still in that room and she's hitting him. Of course, it could also be that he can only see one baby, whereas there should be twins (in early pregnancy, one twin can often be lost while the other survives). My main thought when he said that was "well, obviously you can't see babies! You're scanning way above her womb!" 😂😂
I want them to fake date already. Does someone else know a drama with fake dating?
There are quite a lot. If you search for the tag "contract marriage" you'll find a few. It's not such a popular theme now, but lots of older dramas used it successfully. Favourites of mine are Prime Minister and I, Marriage Not Dating and Goong (Princess Hours). There is also Full House, which is very popular. If you want a slight twist on your fake dating, you could try Crazy Love (where only one of the pair has initiated the fake relationship), or Bride of the Century (where the girl is actually a double of the supposed fiancee).
Chinese dramas offer a lot of fake dating. I'd recommend Go Go Squid, Girlfriend (2020), Perfect and Casual, and Unforgettable Love (2021).
How did she got pregnent is it the mail leads child?
No, she was in a long-term relationship with someone else, but her boyfriend cheated. She found out she was pregnant after breaking up with him. She doesn't really know the male lead at this point.
A very good first episode. All the main characters have been introduced clearly, and the main plot has been explained. With some first episodes I can get to the end and still not understand who the characters are, but not this one. They also managed to get in some humour too. An hour passed pleasantly, and I didn't feel like skipping any scenes. Also, I'd forgotten how much I like listening to the ML's speaking voice 😊.
I'm halfway through this drama and i've concluded that whoever it is that was responsible for Nam Haeng Seon 's…
I think they should get an award! We see too many dramas where the female lead is meant to have no money but is wearing designer brands and has a different coat every day. Haeng Seon's outfits were very much what a mum in her mid to late 30s with no spare cash might wear.
Chinese dramas offer a lot of fake dating. I'd recommend Go Go Squid, Girlfriend (2020), Perfect and Casual, and Unforgettable Love (2021).
