I think he could get out of this situation fairly easily, since he's the landlord and he's holding a box of recycling. Surely he can just say that he was doing an inspection of the property and was showing her what was wrong with her current recycling methods. However, with his track record so far of falling over during moments of stress, I'm expecting something funny to happen instead! 😁

She really doesn't seem interested in dating at all right now. It would be nice if, instead of going for the predictable, "the girl MUST choose one of these two boys" storyline, the writer chose to keep her uninterested right to the end.

Exactly! It's hilarious in places, but also more realistic than most rom-coms. I loved the scene where they were all coming home from the campsite in the car. Somehow that image of them looking like any normal family driving home was the sweetest thing, and him glancing over and smiling at her dozing off was incredibly romantic. I think some drama writers have forgotten these little subtleties that make a relationship look believable. If this writing/directing team keeps this up, it will become one of the classic dramas.

Yes, I like her acting in this. To be fair, she's not bad in most of her other dramas either. She's often cast in fairly unemotional roles, which can some across as a bit wooden. I like her doing comedy roles.

Her "daughter" is actally her niece. Her sister passed away when the niece was very small, and she asked her auntie to let her call her Mum so she could be like the other kids.

Edit: as the poster below said, the "daughter's" real mum (FL's sister) went missing. She's not necessarily dead.

Yes, I suspect something traumatic happened with a child in the past (possibly his sister's child?) and her constantly going on about having a baby may have caused him so much stress that he needed to escape.

No, I don't get too bogged down in analysis. I tend to trust the writer to come up with an interesting plot. I do sometimes speculate about what might happen, but I don't get too bothered it if's not what I expected.

Watch it, because it goes far deeper than that.
