hi... this is my first time stopping by this comment section and well im kinda shocked with these recent comments…
There are some strange comments. I like this drama. There's a bit of everything, so it's never dull. The characters are all interesting, and the legal cases that they deal with are varied, and it's interesting to see how differently the two main leads approach each case. I think if you give it a try, you'll enjoy it.
To everyone who writes, "I hate [insert character name] and skip all the scenes they're in". This seems an odd way to watch a drama. You'll miss most of the plot and - crucially - any character development. Often, a character is written to be unsympathetic at the start of a drama, but gradually develops into someone interesting. Sometimes important plot points are mentioned by minor characters in otherwise unimportant scenes. By skipping, you miss all of this, so characters seem one-dimensional and the plot makes no sense. If you watch to the end without skipping and still dislike a character or find a plot confusing, I respect that, but please give drama writers a chance by viewing the entire drama before rating it badly.
People in timed comments (and even on here) love to criticise a drama for "plot holes" and "terrible writing" when actually they have been watching with one finger on the skip button, and have missed half the plot. It can become quite annoying. If you have watched a drama without skipping, understood the plot, and still hate it, I respect that. I don't respect people who complain about someone else's work without actually watching it properly first.
I just started this and im like thinking "how did she not recognise the judge that presided over her divorces…
Do you remember the face of every official you've ever met? I've registered the birth of all 3 of my children, and can't remember the face of the registrar. I did 2 weeks' jury service and can't remember the faces of any of the court officials. It would be more unusual if she did remember him.
To all the confused people. Go back and watch the first couple of episodes *without* skipping anything! They explain her business model pretty clearly, just gradually in different scenes, so it starts to make sense slowly. If you're fast-forwarding scenes you don't think you'll like, it won't make any sense. Basically, she hires herself out as a fake wife/girlfriend for a fee. Usually, it's just a one-off, or a few short meetings, where she turns up so the family of the "husband" can see that he is really in a relationship. In a few cases (for which she charges a lot more) she legally marries the man, then divorces him later on. Jiho is her 13th legal marriage, and he was a judge at the divorce court for 6 of her previous divorces. I hope that clears it up for anyone who was confused.
Most of ppl dont like SML right now. He is so annoying in the current eps.
Start Up was pretty good, and I didn't understand all the SML hype. He was written as a fairly unappealing person, in my opinion. Nice to old ladies, but a bit self-centred.
I think jamie and JJH should have some old connection. Maybe he forgot bcz otherwise do cats like Jamie...i mean…
There are definitely some cats who are instantly friendly. If Jamie-cat does end up with JH, you'll have to hope that person-Jamie ends up with the other guy, because she's allergic to that cat! 😂
Kim Jae Young is amazing. Too bad Kang Hae Jin is the third wheel in this romance, I like this character. Him…
I agree with you, but with all the hatred being expressed on here towards KHJ's character, it's hard to write a different comment without getting shouted down. Yes, his character is annoying at the beginning, but that's what character development is for. In real life, I suspect Sang Eun and Ji Ho would find married life awful. Yes, "opposites attract" and all that, but I think they'd eventually find each other unbearable.
I do not have any opinion of any of the actors. I'm not watching this drama as a fan or hater of any of them. This is solely based on the characters so far, and I intend to watch the rest of the series with an open mind and see where the writer takes us.
I'm watching to see who the cat ends up with! From her perspective, it's best if she ends up with the guy she likes, and the sneezy woman and scratchable man end up together. 😂 It also occurred to me during the last episode that the writer may be trying to use their reactions to the cat in a symbolic way, but I may have watched too many kdramas and started to see symbolism everywhere.
