Why do I get the feeling that to hit that 100% mark, MS will have to make the ultimate love sacrifice? Well, it’s…
Surely if it hits 100% she will have completed the task the game system set her, and she might come out of the game? Do we really want it to hit 100% yet?

Rick, you haven't watched the OG. It HAS to be viewed as a South Korean drama in and of itself. A 16 episode Kdrama.…
I agree with Lucy. It's definitely worth watching. I tend to watch adaptations as a completely new drama. I have seen the original and liked it. I like this one too.

Yes, this drama has some amazing child actors.

The one thing I HATE about Disney streamed shows is that they're Closed Captioned, which I find ***ULTRA DISTRACTING***…
I found it hilarious when she said, "I'm not curious" and straight afterwards the closed captions said "curious music plays". I prefer them to Netflix subtitles, where they only translate the non-English words.

Honestly, I think this drama is deliberately parodying the usual ads for it. I laughed.
Yes, what I'm trying to say is that the Kopiko ads are like this because they parody how product placement is usually done in dramas. They don't take themselves seriously.

you guys I'm still on the fence about Fuck and Nam Jayeon's relationship. I know it was supposed to be comedic…
I suspect the writer may be planning to show how easy it is to just write hate-filled rants online without thinking of the consequences or seeing the other person as a real human, and how it would feel if you actually saw the consequences of your impulsive comments. He's definitely going to suffer with a LOT of guilt for those quick moments of typing.

It's a good point. Forgetting your embarrassing past could mean that you accidentally keep repeating it. Keep the memories and avoid making the same mistakes.

im thinking along the lines of she must be SA'd by her father or something. Knowing she was a foster kid that…
Even if she wasn't herself, she grew up among foster kids and definitely witnessed the trauma caused by all kinds of abuse, so yes, any comment like that would tip her over the edge. I think the writer may be sending a cautionary tale to viewers... be careful what you write online, because you don't actually know the person who is reading it, or the damage you could unknowingly cause them. It's a lesson many netizens need!

Pretty sure they are poking fun at the trope the way they are with a lot of different tropes
I agree. It's the old Superman myth - that no-one can recognise a person if they wear glasses and change the way they part their hair. (My daughter laughs at me because I genuinely have this problem sometimes. At the end of Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, I had great difficulty recognising Park Hyung Sik in the wedding scene at first because he had his hair up! 🤦🏼‍♀️)

The second point. I don't think he was fostered as a small child, but probably in his late teens, when FL was an adult and had left home. We know she didn't go back often, so it's plausible that she would never have met him.

He hasn't actually played since he was small though, so becoming a player again would be highly unlikely. The best outcome would be him making a huge success of his agency, and using his tennis expertise to nurture new players like Si On.

Which company do you think the allude to? Google or Apple?
Greip = Grape = a fruit
Apple = a fruit

I don't think a Google is a fruit! 😂
On Love Next Door Aug 25, 2024
😂 I watched ep 1 - 3 on silent (earphones not available at the time), so I had been pronouncing Greip in my head as "Gripe" - probably because I subconsciously saw it as a German word for some reason.

I've just watched episode 4 with my earphones in, and heard the pronunciation... Grape! 😂😂 That explains the roll-neck black top and the whole presentation style when FL worked there. I like spotting the laptops with pineapple logos on them which appear in many dramas. Now, which fruit will the next drama software company be named after?

There are so many comments about the age differences between the actors, and I wouldn’t have really noticed…
Yep. I was just thinking that I don't really ever consider the age of the characters or actors in a drama. I just watch and enjoy the plot. If an age difference is mentioned in the plot, I will notice, but otherwise I usually have no idea how old any of the characters are.
