As well as everything you pointed out, YG's stepmother and Mrs Yeo Ju agreed that they engagement was true, and YG seemed to believe them. Why should Dan Dan doubt them? She had known YG less than 6 months, and they'd been a couple about a week.

Exactly. We don't see any of the characters go to the toilet, but we assume they do so. The writer can only put in things that are relevant to the immediate story, or it becomes too long-winded and people complain about time wasting. If it becomes necessary to the plot, I'm sure they'll show his other memories returning.

Can someone explain to me why so many people are saying Jae Ni will object to Dan Dan as a stepmother in the next episode? So many people seem certain that this is the next plotline. I don't see it. Yes, there is only a 13-year age gap, or something like that, but she definitely sees Dan Dan as a friend and someone to trust, and in the karaoke scene in the last episode they even looked like mother and daughter, laughing at YG.

In the preview for next week she does say, "this doesn't make any sense", but that could refer to anything at all.

There was a scene where Anna came back when DD was very young, and saw her with Mr Park and the stepmother - apparently a happy family - and decided to leave as DD seemed content and cared-for. So, yes, she is similar to Sa Ra.

I think people are misinterpreting the episode 27 preview. Unless the subs are wrong on the version I watched, WDR doesn't mention a name. She just says something like "what if she gets pregnant? Then it's all over." That could refer to Se Ryeon, or even Dan Dan.

If he only has some of his recent memories back, she may try insinuating that SJ was born because she and YG had an affair, and that YG and his wife brought him up as their own. I can see her demanding a DNA test for herself and SJ to prove it, forgetting that if he YG gets one for himself and SJ it will prove that he isn't his father.

There were too many people telling her it was true. Even Mrs YeoJu thought it was because of her misunderstanding before the accident. Young Guk himself believed it. I still think DanDan did the right thing. I do agree with you that she has definitely got her father's personality and naive tendency to believe those around him.

The writer isn't stupid. Yes, people are annoyed at the amnesia arc, but just look at us all discussing what might happen next. 😊 She made us care what happens.

The biggest problem for SR's plans is that SJ adores his adopted dad too, views his adopted mum as his real mum and hates SR. She's so focused on getting her own idealised "happy family" that she hasn't realised it would make SJ incredibly unhappy. If she did manage to actually get as far as a wedding, she would end up with a depressed husband who resents her, a miserable youngest son and two older stepchildren who hated her anyway but loathe her when she tries to send them off to boarding school abroad. She doesn't think more than 5 minutes ahead.

It would be hilarious if Sa Ra fell off the same cliff and landed next to YG's handkerchief, bringing back all his memories. 😂

Remember how angry 41-year-old YG got with his stepmother before the accident. I suspect there will be a lot of anger. SR and the stepmother need to start praying!

Look at it from her angle though. She had pushed him into the relationship, which he had been wavering about (we know it was because of his late wife and the age gap, but she doesn't) and they had only been a couple for a few days when he lost his memories. Sa Ra has been with the family for years, and all her lies are based on truths, and fairly plausible if you're a relative newcomer to the family. Dan Dan knows what it's like for children to feel betrayed by someone who was married (she thinks) but had an affair. She doesn't know about her mother leaving/father attempting suicide/stepmother caring for them. I think everything Dan Dan has done makes a certain amount of sense.

Yep, the lack of a face in the memories worried me, but the part in the preview where he remembers that he, DanDan and the kids went to the amusement park is encouraging. I'm 100% sure SR will try to twist the memories to her own purpose, but I'm hoping the writer won't be quite evil enough to let it work. If she is that evil, I hope she makes sure SR suffers BADLY when everything is revealed.

If she does, let's hope it's a "drug" made by her mum. We know how well those work!

Not necessarily completely. He's definitely getting small flashes of memory though, and from the preview it seems that he's starting to realise he was definitely in a relationship with DD. He just needs to realise that he's not seeing any evidence of one with SR!
