I don't know. Dan Dan didn't use any good critical thinking skills throughout this crisis. She allowed Mr. Lee…
Look at it from her angle though. She had pushed him into the relationship, which he had been wavering about (we know it was because of his late wife and the age gap, but she doesn't) and they had only been a couple for a few days when he lost his memories. Sa Ra has been with the family for years, and all her lies are based on truths, and fairly plausible if you're a relative newcomer to the family. Dan Dan knows what it's like for children to feel betrayed by someone who was married (she thinks) but had an affair. She doesn't know about her mother leaving/father attempting suicide/stepmother caring for them. I think everything Dan Dan has done makes a certain amount of sense.
Not necessarily completely. He's definitely getting small flashes of memory though, and from the preview it seems…
Yep, the lack of a face in the memories worried me, but the part in the preview where he remembers that he, DanDan and the kids went to the amusement park is encouraging. I'm 100% sure SR will try to twist the memories to her own purpose, but I'm hoping the writer won't be quite evil enough to let it work. If she is that evil, I hope she makes sure SR suffers BADLY when everything is revealed.
Not necessarily completely. He's definitely getting small flashes of memory though, and from the preview it seems that he's starting to realise he was definitely in a relationship with DD. He just needs to realise that he's not seeing any evidence of one with SR!
Maybe his memories arenโt totally back cuz he doesnโt see DDโs face on his mind ๐ค
I noticed that too. He saw *someone* but no face. I'm hoping that, if he doesn't remember clearly, he tries dropping little test questions into conversations with Se Ra and realises from her answers that it couldn't possibly have been her. If he asks the same questions to DanDan and talks to the kids about the recent past a bit, he may start figuring out what is going on. I really want his phone to be found, with all the family photos from the amusement park and Se Chan's birthday, and the cute messages from the fashion show, to jog his memory. All those photo memories include the kids and Dan Dan, but not Se Ra.
I'm starting to think this series is either a warning to think carefully about how you treat your kids (every parent in it has made big mistakes) or a warning to keep a detailed diary, so you know exactly who you're in a relationship with if you get amnesia! ๐
Anyway, if you want to take anyone in the drama as a role model, I'd suggest Ms YeoJu (the housekeeper). She gets on well with everyone, doesn't do evil things, is nice to the kids and is always there to help during a crisis.
"This amnesia plot bad blah blah blah" like relax people. Everytime i check theres someone bitchin about it. Like…
Wow! I really want to watch "Mosquito Psychopath" now! Sounds amazing. LOL!
I agree that it's not helpful to just complain constantly about the amnesia plot. Thankfully there are lots of people with other interesting discussions on here too. ๐
So, who thinks SaRa is still redeemable? And what would have to happen for that?I'm kind of wondering how the…
It's going to take a LOT! When (if) YG regains his memories, he's going to be absolutely murderous! I really can't see how Gun is going to like her either, especially when he hears the whole string of lies, and knows that she was plotting against his niece the whole time. I foresee the writers giving her a huge traumatic storyline, so that everyone has to feel sorry for her (accident? coma? amputation? near death experience? ...). Perhaps she runs away from the house when her lies are uncovered, and the reliable old white truck is lurking...
Yes! I would love for that to happen. But from the preview I imagine DD keeping silent and only telling Anna that…
DD wouldn't have to be the one to start the conversation. What if Se Ryeon is getting suspicious about Se Ra's claims, and speaks to Lawyer Ko, who mentions that he was surprised YG was engaged to Se Ra because he'd only mentioned a "younger" girlfriend.
Se Ryeon could easily pull DanDan aside to talk about it, as the only available sane-ish person in the household, and the person who helped her escape her own wedding. If Se Ryeon expressed her doubts about the truth of SR's claims, and mentioned that even Lawyer Ko hadn't known about any girlfriend except the mysterious "younger" one, DanDan's rational brain might finally start working again, and together they might start figuring out what's going on.
Also, the kids might possibly gossip to Auntie Se Ryeon about the mystery person DanDan admitted to liking, and she could put two and two together.
I just think she's the most likely person to be able to gather all the loose ends and make sense of them. Everyone else only has one side of the story.
I'm struggling through episode 15, and beginning to think there must have been a lightbulb shortage during filming. No-one switches on more than a dim lamp in most rooms. I suspect the director was aiming to convey with the dim lights and sepia tones that this is a mystery/suspense drama rather than a simple romance. Unfortunately it just makes most scenes look unutterably depressing. I quite like the plot actually, and the actors aren't too bad, but the doom and gloom aura is making it hard work.
Omg Iโd love that! I love all 3 of those kids! I hope they come up with a plan. Jenni better make saraโs life…
If the kids hear about her plan to send the older two away to school, that will send them right over the edge. I'm pretty sure YG would find it unacceptable too, since he loves all 3 kids, even in his amnesiac state.
We need Se Ryeon and Dan Dan to have a good talk. Se Ryeon knows Young Guk doesn't like Se Ra, and she seems very suspicious in the engagement outfits scene. She likes Dan Dan, who helped her to escape an awful marriage. If she realises that DD and YG like each other, I think she'll try to point out the cracks in Se Ra's claims to Dan Dan and they can work together to figure out what's really going on.
i feel like he's gona leave Se Ra and she's gonna try to take kid from him when she's realizing that they won't…
The words "you can't" aren't in SR's vocabulary! It's almost certain thay she will try to claim a right to SJ at some point, otherwise the writer wouldn't have bothered with that storyline. However, as long as his adoption was legal (and the older version of YG seems the sort of person to do things legally), she won't have a legal right to do so. I'm hoping Cha Gun can talk some sense into her and convince her that she's better off as a friendly auntie than a mum (even the kids can tell that she's not mum material!).
Anyway, if you want to take anyone in the drama as a role model, I'd suggest Ms YeoJu (the housekeeper). She gets on well with everyone, doesn't do evil things, is nice to the kids and is always there to help during a crisis.
