The writer has done so well so far that I'm getting nervous. Up to episode 14 we've had a lovely build up, great pacing, potential misunderstandings cleared up fast, and main leads who trust each other. I'm just terrified that, with 36 episodes to go, the writer will fall into the usual drama trap of a string of drawn-out misunderstandings. It would be very refreshing to see a long drama which manages to avoid those.
Interesting storyline. I like the male and female lead; however, I am not interested in the second couple with…
The only problem with Dan Dan going to America is that she would have to leave Se Jong, and she has made a promise this time that she will stay until he starts his next school. The kids would all feel completely betrayed if she left.
Spoiler please: How does he know she's Anna's daughter?
Yes, I have a nasty feeling she will at least try to do that. I'm hoping her plans are foiled. Let's hope that if she does remove it, the kids see her and tie 12 handkerchiefs on when she has gone! 😂
I'm interested but is the ML interesting (not bland)? And the whole everything is solved fast is kinda .. i want…
Not bland at all. And yes, things are solved fast, but there is so much drama going on that if they didn't solve things fast, there would be too much to keep up with! 😂
Lets be honest Both Mr Park and Anna kim haven't moved on from each other at all. Atleast Anna Kim has that guilty…
I don't like the step mum, but I think her, "you will regret it" comment was more because Dan Dan currently thinks her stepmum was her dad's mistress and the reason her mum died. When she discovers that her mum left her dad, and the stepmum saved their lives, she may regret the harsh words.
I really like it so far! It really gives me the Sound of Music vibes which I love and the melodramatic vibe doesn't…
I totally agree that it has Sound of Music vibes. It also reminds me a lot of Prime Minister and I. If you love both of those, you'll love this. 6 episodes in, and I've laughed a lot, but unexpectedly cried quite a lot too. The cast are great. Even the kids act very well, and the "bad" characters aren't necessarily quite what they first seem.
Ah, that's so funny because he played such an evil creepy character in Bring It On Ghost that I can't get that…
Ah, *that* will be why I instantly disliked him! Thank you! I couldn't remember what I'd seen him in, but assumed he must have played a fairly evil role before, because I felt a strong distrust of him the moment I saw him.
I'm part way through episode 16 and putting this on hold until it's finished, then I'll zip through the rest of the episodes, just to see what they've done with it, but I'm not optimistic. It had potential as a light, easy watch, but as soon as the wide-eyed clingy ex appeared and all his attention turned in her direction, I lost hope for the plot.
It's light, fluffy and pastel-coloured. A very shallow/thin plot, with fairly one-dimensional characters, silly situations and daft sound effects, but sometimes that's exactly what you want, to cheer you up! I like it.
I had actually seen both the leads in previous dramas where I ended up dropping them because I couldn't really…
Thank you for adding this comment. I've dropped dramas with this FL in, because I struggled so much with her acting, but you've convinced me to give this one a try.
