Don’t get me wrong. I love Pooh but his acting feels like a car stuck in neutral. He’s so lovable and has…
Same, I need him to possibly get a role that mores seriously and less "lovable" so I rate his acting range. I think it's slightly improved but like you said he still feels very neutral.
IDK Ko is an asshole to your face but Pheem is an asshole behind your back and I think that's worse. But hands down another great episode! The only thing I find weird is Jira's constant play dead/dead fish reactions. Twice now Pheem has either kissed or touched him and he just stands there and let it happen to him. It's kinda awkward.
I'm kinda annoyed by how almost weak, useless, and mediocre Kaew is in this life. In the books and even his the flashbacks of his previous life he had a little more personality and spunk. To be fair I kinda disliked how Kaewta just let people make all the decisions for him, didn't stick up for himself, and even was gonna let Ajarn just run away without reporting him in the books (which I guess they are doing a good job of keeping the same character traits in the show) but its still quite annoying to me. Yes we see snippets of flashbacks of the two in love but I want to see more of Kaew's previous life and his bold personality like in the books.
This show has a hard time with pacing because we're already at the halfway and barely has the story moved along. I've scene more story progression in shows with only 20-30 runtimes and fewer episodes. I've been looking forward to this show and honestly it's not standing up to muster.
I'd say this was a great ending episode. We finally got a little more info about Apo and maybe where he's been (possibly living his life as Thorn). The family FINALLY learn what we've all been thinking, Yi was behind Apo's accident, and his father finally got his head out of his ASS. I will forever love the look Chan gives him after he hears that his father had no idea that HIS WIFE had heart problems for possibly years and Chan put him in his place that he's just not there for his family it's always been just his business.
I love the moments between him and Tail, those were sweet, wholesome, and right. Sad we didn't get to see Francois but knowing he had a hand in getting everyone back together will have to do.
What I'm really surprised about was the fact that YI DIED. A lot of the times the bad guy gets caught and gets dragged away by police and that's it. Their ending is just us knowing they will eventually be off to jail, BUT NO they just said bye sucker and killed him lol.
Two things I didn't particularly like was the fact that Apo's parents were just fine with another soul taking over their child's life just because it made every one else happier around him. That's a little messed up. Maybe Thorn told them that he is also happy wherever he is now and we didn't have enough time to explore that but that felt a little sad that they almost didn't care.
The other thing is, and don't hate me, but the ending NC scene. I don't think it was needed and if they wanted to have it in the episode it should have been them having a night together before getting married at the beach the next day. Ending it on the NC rather than everyone being happy on the beach wedding just felt like a gratuitous NC scene. That's it!
I think people need to stop saying "car crash" when referring to what will happen when YSL finds out. People might finally understand its supposed to be a metaphor and NOT an actual spoiler if they just use "train wreck" lol
If I am not wrong, the TV screen is playing Love Of Siam movie while the leads have meal right?
It is. It's playing the famous kiss scene. Apparently when it was coming out people didn't know it was gonna be a bl so it shocked quite a lot of people!
That really wouldn’t make the cut.. I never expected it to be in the drama, actually I didn’t expect many…
Same, I mean I've already notice a few subtle differences in the novel from the series but they barely add anything so its fine that they are taken out because the series is actually following the novel almost 1:1. Even the scenes with Xue Bao Tian, I'm glad we definitely didn't get those. It's definitely a dark romance which are qualities I sometimes love in dramas but some were too much.
The took out Fan Xiao "shower punishment" scene after he pushed You Shulang out of the room. Honestly, I'm fine with it because the rest of the episode made it up for it!
I Can't. I Can't. I Can't. I Can't. I Can't. I Can't. I Can't. The amount of times I had to pause to laugh!

Overall 8/10.
