One great thing in the drama is they really succeeded in showing Qin Shi Huang's suspicious nature. Very early we realize it's his greatest flaw.
True their romance made a 360 in the end and the reason behind it was not strong enough...

Since they decided not to follow original story and have her fall for YZ they should have kept that twist relevant. It's like they didn't know how to wrap up the romance so you can't really tell who loved who. Very disappointing.

I'm always uncomfortable with this thing in lakorn where the girl has to go back to the guy if she's pregnant. Even her parents were pressuring her. No matter how atrocious he behaved she should not stay away from him. Reminds me of cultures where the girl is forced to marry her rapist. It's funny lakorn in the beginning but the end is bad I think.

Zheng is cruel but also truly pitiful when it comes to parents. His mom will ALWAYS betray, use and hurt him so she can get a man, his blood father will ALWAYS hurt, use and betray him so he can get power. Every single time he softens up they take it as a chance to give another blow. In the end, he just can't trust them. Smh

What episode does it become really interesting?
