The one thing I can say about this drama is that the child actors were amazing, especially the lead couple. Gosh the lead girl killed it... her face, her eyes, the way she carried herself, everything was so gracious and dignified, she really made her character shine. Wow, she even out-shined her adult version.
This was very funny at the beginning but then it got so draggy! At one point I was skipping not just scenes but whole episodes. lol
I think they wanted to write the main girl very naive, simple and kind, but it was too much so she came out more like dumb, and sadly in an annoying way. I'm a bit disappointed since the review and comments made it seem like it was a cute and cheesy drama...I didn't find it like that. Not that it's bad because it can still make you smile but it's too frustrating (especially the love triangle) and some reactions are really nonsensical, obviously to drag the crisis or build up false tension.
A very beautiful drama. Simple story but well put, I like how they slow the motion for the deep moments, the dialogues to themselves also are really beautiful. I love the main girl, she's so simple, kind and caring. It's not melodramatic but you can still feel a wide range of emotions in the very sad moments. The cute scenes are touching and all the characters really interesting. No one is really evil, even if some are annoying they're still bearable.
This drama was such a mess lol. Ridiculous! I laughed so hard when at one point she said "Lets break up", because that's when I realized I didn't even notice when they got together officially ah ah ah! Sign of how lame this drama was on the romance side: ZERO chemistry between the leads...and that guy...sorry but he really can't act. So many nonsensical events...and that psycho brother...they forgot to expose all he did LMFAO...<br />And for heaven's sake those hairstyles! ROFL, plus the mother looking more like the granny...Ayoooh no no that was too much for me. :D<br />Two good points though: 1. I got to see Fang Yong Yong.<br />2 I laughed all along so much everything was ridiculous.
I enjoyed this drama. Very funny scenes and I L.O.V.E.D Huang Rong. It's so refreshing to have a heroine who for once is not weak, stupid and constantly whining!
My only regret is how the demon brother and his stupid wife ended. He shouldn't have enjoyed good times after all the evil he did, and she should have died also for always helping him hurt so many innocent people. But what they did to Ouyang Fang was AWESOME, better than death, his end was really the best. Ah ah ah !
A lot of scenes are inspired from Hana Yori Dango. The 4th Prince was hateful from beginning to end I found. The romance between the leads was funny and then very touching. It's a nice drama,the only big flaw was the doppelganger angst... really odd.
After Lan Ling Wang betrayed Xue Wu's trust for crazy Zheng Er, honestly... I just felt it was wrong for her not to choose the emperor of Zhou. lol

Wow! This drama is great! How did they manage to make a drama full of clichés but unpredictable at the same time? It's cute and funny and the lead girl is awesome, thing you hardly see in dramaland: she's funny, strong and so mature from beginning to end, never turning into an irrational, or whinning, or obsessive, or doormat lover once she falls for him. Nobody beats around the bush, all is clear and sweet. At some point you even sympathize with the scary second female. Really I'm happy I discovered it.
If you want smthg light and sweet then I definitely recommend it.
I just don't know why they wrote Jan Di's character like that...and why Hye Sun portrayed her like that. She really ruins the romance in this drama. But this version in terms of visuals is the best one: best sceneries, best looking F4, Lee Min Ho really looks like the guy in the Manga, they really look indecently rich, the school, the trips, everything gave the F4 feeling. But really Gum Jan Di is hard to bear.
This show is the best adaptation of the Manga in terms of loveable characters. Makino is the most likeable female lead, and the story the least dragging.
Trying so hard not to drop it :( And now they added 1 more episode? Please tell me that episodes 18-19 are better…
I found ep 19 very funny...it's better than 17 and 18. As a whole it's a light, cheesy and funny drama; to me, even the evil Jia Yu ends up looking funny for being such a psycho...lol
I think it's overrated. Didn't like it the first time and dropped it at ep 4. There were so many positive reviews, and comments saying how amazing it was, I thought I should watch it again and be more patient.
