You have a nice list. My favorites are S.O.L.O and Fight the bad feeling but OMG Almost Paradise I just can't. BOF made me so crazy fed up with this song. I liked it at first but they used it too much. I was so done with it, I remember every time they would play it in the series, I felt like knocking my head on the walls. lol
The main couple was boring, and the lead guy...hum hum...let's just say coward, unfaithful, wishy washy in his feelings and sooooo stupid! But the girl's friend was AWESOME from beginning to end. You kind of watch the drama because of Sima...and to see the villain's ending. In all, it's not so bad.
It's cute but the lead guy was kind of getting on my nerves sometimes with his manipulative ways. lol
Anyways the drama is nice and has some deep life lessons in it.
LOL this article is so funny!
I agree with Love Around, man it was so painful to watch at one point, I just dropped it.
I liked Just You, but just for the cheesiness...Ding Jia Yu was something else though.
I'm so glad, I got recommendations to be reconciled with lakorns and this one was among them. Oh it was so good! Very unexpected and original, not so scary. Also I like how it shows how dangerous it is to spoil a child and always find excuses to bad behavior. When they grow up it messes up their lives and other people's too, because of the bad habits they pick up.
U guys should be careful with watching rape-lakorns. It's not good at all. It will probably affect u in a bad…
If you watch the same things/messages many times, it affects your subconscious. The thing is you don't realize it...it's not conscious. Thinking you can separate fiction from reality won't change anything to the process. This is why it's not ok, and it's not trivial (this ok rapist thing). How do you think advertisement works? Do you think people see commercials as other than short fiction?
Be careful, while you believe you don't condone, truth is you've also already been desensitized to the crime.
I watched this when I was trying to discover Thai dramas. I did not finish it as I don't like slap and kiss lakorns, but it's one of the few where I could stand the female lead. She's so strong, smart and kind...well at least at the beginning. It's the first time I see a female lead standing up for herself so brilliantly, and putting back the mean guy in his place like a boss! Lol She even fights back sometimes, which is awesome!!!
I could clearly understand how and why he fell for her because she was really impressive, a real shero!!! But as always I don't get why and how she fell for him and also why he gets away so easily with all the horrific things he did.
Very sweet and lovely drama. I'm glad I watched it, I was almost turned off by lakorns after an intro with mostly slap and kiss genre, but this saves the day! He he he! Touching story, touching family, friendship and romantic love. Also it's very instructive on Thai culture and customs. It's really pleasant to watch.
I was fooled by Full House Thai version lol. I found it so great that I wanted to discover Thai dramas. The most popular listed on the net were slap and kiss ones...and I must admit I'm now traumatized. I could not finish any one of them. I don't see the romance or beauty in wanting to be with a guy that rapes you, hits you, constantly humiliates you publicly, or abuses you emotionally and verbally. @_@
And to make matters worse, the girl hardly even stands for herself, she just takes it all like a zombie.
I don't know...maybe it's a cultural thing...as for me...I just find this sick and scary.
The lead girl was hard to like, because she's too mean and selfish. Until the end I never understood, how, why and when he fell for her. lol
Seemed like she didn't deserve him.
I find the way they treat women in this drama more disgraceful than usual. They basically do as if women are willingly "things" without pride or dignity at a guy's disposal and that he can treat however he feels. The level of disrespect with which the lead guy treats the main girl with his sleeping around in the open, is so shocking...@_@...! Plus his girlfriends (still don't get how you can pretend to be married and not even...at least... hide your multiple girlfriends...and everybody seems ok with it lol) are psychos.
The drama has some funny scenes, but it's just so degrading for women...it's too much, I dropped it.
I'm not used to Lakorn, is it often like that?
It's really better than the Korean version, they have many more sweet moments. Episode 14 is the cutest. Also, I think one reason I like it best is that the lead girl is stronger there, the other one was really a doormat and it was so frustrating.
The greatest character is and will remain Min Sook for me. :) The worse Ah Ri...not that she's mean or anything but her childish behavior was ....uuuurrgh...just too much to bear. I liked the drama at beginning, very mature like dialogues, but then I didn't like how the lead couple started to act, especially the guy.
Anyways the drama is nice and has some deep life lessons in it.
