Wow! I'm so happy I watched this. First part is a bit draggy and boring, but it picks up from episode 6 and is really interesting by the end. I love how typical tragic drama twists do not last too long and really...the leads' relationship grows amazingly strong. My favorite characters remain uncle Koji, Takeshi and Junko. :) Even the evil second female is not all the way evil ...she's more crazy delusional than evil actually.lol
I have to admit when they make a woman wicked in a Lakorn she really is crazy wicked! lol
On another note...the lead girl is so badasssss! Wow how refreshing to see such a kind but strong female in a lakorn.
This remake is a great job. Much funnier, they're just crazy! lol The sweet moments are also better. :) I really enjoyed the show even if it gets a bit draggy after episode 12.
I don't feel any chemistry between the leads...I don't know if it's me or maybe Love Now bias since it was so strong between Shi De and Yi Ru...I find the couple dull in this one. Actually I rather see Bo Hai and Bu Fan lol.
The ending is REALLY crappy...I'm really not a fan of the noble idiot plot twist...I always find it more of a selfish idiot reaction cuz in the end it's still stealing a person's choice for their own future by deciding for them to end it.
Thought it would be good but dropped it. Couldn't feel anything...I don't know...it was like zero chemistry between the leads and the plot was so nonsensical sometimes...I mean more than usual.
I liked Nang'ek's strength, looooved the old maid and the lawyer...ah ah ah so funny! It's one of the few lakorns where the mother-in-law really loves her daughter-in-law, and you can see why: she truly is amazing (smart, kind, loyal, beautiful and bla bla bla...lol) But I couldn't stand pra'ek... now that husband was disgusting... his behavior nauseating. I hate storylines with guys playing 2 girls, they mess up everything ...and did his crazy ex go far!!! Until the end I felt the lead girl deserved better than a weak, crazy, dumb and cheating husband...if you don't mind this part it's a cute drama. So sad such a good woman ends up with a shitty hubby.
Hi-tech maid was fine. Full House is really good but it's tricky because I haven't seen any lakorn giving this vibe, it's really not the typical lakorn.
I'm watching the firs episode of Mia Taeng out of curiosity and I must say: Wow! The lead girl is soooo badass! lol It's refreshing. ah ah ah!
Great, because the plot is awesome.When story is different, characters are different, but it's still sweet..I like it. So for Cubic:
-Amaizing Nang'ek: very strong, smart, kind, bubbly and honest
-Original plot: everything is not focused on the love interest, very exciting to see her display her talents
-No evil, unbearably annoying female rival: they were all kind and normal
-the actress who played Nark is really good.
The only thing is Bomb needs to improve in his acting, it felt fake and forced sometimes.
I find the way they treat women in this drama more disgraceful than usual. They basically do as if women are willingly…
Thx for the recommendations. I was lucky to find some people like you to give me a glimpse of titles I should look for. I loved Full House...so much that it was the reason I wanted to discover more about Thai dramas. Man the shock was HUGE when I saw a few slap and kiss...I was literally traumatized (Sawan Biang had me wondering if the writers were normal people lol) ! Now I've seen some other type of lakorns and I'm happy to say I enjoyed them. :) I'm very careful now when looking for one to watch.
I've never seen any drama like this. You can't remain stoic with smth like this.
It's so dark, touches really deep, serious, scary issues, but at the same time they manage to make the love story so strong and beautiful, it's like the shining light in all this darkness. It's so sad and awful and yet so beautiful and touching, it also has a great message about hope, strength and forgiveness. It's a Masterpiece for me.
This drama will remain one of my all time favorites in T-dramaland. They rub so much cuteness in your face that you'll get rash...ah ah ah !
Seriously its strength is that it has a lot of clichés, it's cheesy, mushy, cute and all but at the same time very unexpected. The plot is not the typical one that's what's best, there's no evilness, nobody is really annoying or frustrating, if they are it's never for long. It's just normal people leaving their life and experiencing love...it's more like a "slice of life" kind of drama with loads of beautiful friendship, family and romantic love. Very touching, very sweet...I don't know I just really love it. Also the OTP chemistry is so strong...it's just WOW! The girl is not weak like so many times in dramas, the guy is not a jerk, he's not perfect either but Lord have mercy...does he love her!!!!!
The music is great also.
The musical part was nice, it makes you discover some aspects of Thai culture.
It's very funny and cute, especially in the beginning. It gets kind of draggy in the second half. As usual the antagonists are soooo frustrating. It would have been perfect if the nang'ek was not the typical weak helpless overly naive...not to say stupid... woman...the type that can't do anything serious if she's not helped by a man and whom best fighting weapon is to cry and scream! lol...But we're used to this in dramaland...well...she's still cute though.
My favorite character was the grandfather...Ah Ah Ah Best ghost ever!!!!
