I watched until episode 8 but i just can't get past how plastic the female lead looks. I like the story is it…
I agree her face is weird, especially her eyes, nose and lips. It's too much surgery.

Actually when you watch the drama you realize the synopsis is right, but the way it's written is confusing and misleading. This is the story of a guy who misunderstood his childhood love, and has a complicated family. When he meets her again years later he's full of bitterness and desire for revenge against those who hurt him, including her. But carrying his plan becomes difficult when he realizes the girl's life involves many painful secrets...yet she's still cheerful and very righteous compare to his dark and hurt personality.

Title After Love
My guess....he will search out her first true love only to find out that it was him. Yeah this is going to be…
Ah ah I thought the exact same thing for the storyline.

I agree with most except for the remakes point. A remake will always be compared with the original, so it's not because it's a K-drama but because it's the original. Just like Fated to love you is compared to the T-version or Liar Game to the J-drama. It's natural to point out resemblance or differences between the original and the remake, you always like one of the two better, so there's nothing wrong with this I think. For ex. I prefer Full House Thai version over the original K-drama hands down! lol

Geum Jan Di's character and the way Goo Hye Soon portrayed her is what ruins this drama. Only the first 3 episodes are good. Jap version is much better, the girl is less annoying and has more common sense.

Title Soulmate
Funny...this show says your soulmate is one you can't stay away from, BOF said it to be the one you're not meant to be with (Geum Jan Di and Ji Hoon). lol
On Love Is the Best Jan 18, 2015
One thing very interesting in the drama, is how the evilness of the sister is somehow a result of the passivity of the lead girl. When you come to think of it, she's always more daring because she's always allowed to ask and do worse. Also Mei Xi is supposed to be kind and pure hearted, but you realize she focuses first on not upsetting her sister, even if she has to hurt others, she can disregard others feelings without hesitation and hurt repeatedly as long as her sister isn't upset. So you wonder if it's really just intense care and kindness and not a subconscious urge to ease her guilt away...
On Of Love and Rain Jan 16, 2015
No...but seriously...everytime those two are paired, how come the chem is so strong and the story so awesome?

So after surfing the waves of T-dramaland, I've come to that conclusion: Yes, indeed, undoubtedly, and most definitely...a Peter Ho goes with a Janine Chang, an Ariel Lin goes with a Joe Cheng and a Rainie Yang goes with a Mike He! He he he!

Title Best Time
I really don't like Su Man' s character. I just cant warm to her. I preferred Janine Chang in Sunny Happiness
Actually I found her intelligent but not confident at all (only on surface) and rather weak. I felt she could not trust herself to be able to find her own happiness in love if no SY. Her obsession was like an escape: only seeing him so not having to face and shoulder any alternate reality. That's how I felt she was somehow very weak...Well...I understood her character like that.
The special #49 showed how living for herself for 2 years thus gaining strength and confidence, helped her let him go definitely.

I too prefer Fang Yong Yong hands down! Her strength was her fearlessness when it came to sacrificing.

Title Best Time Spoiler
One thing that was very disappointing is how until the end she never clearly let go of SY. So it's hard to understand how her love for LLC grew strong all of a sudden. It felt like she loved him because she couldn't be with her obsession....o.O
I'm still satisfied they changed the ending so she would not choose a weak two-timer just for the sake of mistaking infatuation/obsession for true love...but I felt the show was unfair to the pairing with LLC. They should have gotten together earlier or at least she should have shown her switch of interest earlier in the drama.

I really like the storyline. I also like Rainie and Wu Chun so it was a delight to watch the show. Their chemistry is strong and their scenes first hilarious then very sweet, in the end very touching. However some scenes are so irritating especially with the antagonists, and over-nonsensical when it comes to the parents...that I skipped them. As a whole it's a cute drama that I re-watched 2 times, and each time I wanted to scream at Angela: '' Giiiiirl what does it take for you to understand you can't force yourself into a heart !!! ''

Title Drunken to Love You Spoiler
I liked it in the beginning because it was funny and sweet, but as usual with asian dramas they ruined it in the end, the whole injured mama drama and gangsta mama thing was unnecessary. Also I ended up hating SJX in the end for how cruelly he treated her, and I couldn't stand them letting Peggy have her way...I mean since when trapping a guy is a sure way to happily ever after? I will not even mention the male love rival appearance...arghhhh... It's very good in the first two thirds then after just prepare yourself for a very frustrating plot.
On Single Princesses and Blind Dates Jan 12, 2015
Tong Tong didn't deserve any of the two. They were too good for her. I don't like when they make the female lead act like it's ok to do whatever you want to a person since they love you. What she did at the wedding was low, nasty and coward. She should have grown her backbone earlier and not publicly humiliate the guy like that...smh.
