Watching it again and still like this depiction of obsession mistaken for love. She was in love with an idea, a fantasized character not a person, pushed on the real person the traits of her idea. SM fancied Alex so much over Lu Li Cheng...smh...yes he was not evil and even impressive at first but he was boring, then after selfish and inconsiderate. She's more fun and spicy with LLC.The book should have ended breaking her free from this obsessional fantasized lover...glad the drama did...well in a way...
OMG I can't with lakorns and their madness! lol I thought it was gonna be a cute and simple story...but the plot is so twisted! looool
I feel sorry for Patarin, they don't realize they're not only toying with her feelings but with her mind as well.
I think I'm having an overdose of love triangles...it's becoming hard to find new interesting dramas to watch, since most of them are based on those. This drama looks like it would be fun to watch...but...
So she kills her sister to get her husband and it's all fair because she's in love? Then the dead sister is a good person because all that matters is that her sis is happy with whom she wants...@_@ A bit scary this definition of true love...lol
To me best 2015 drama so far. Loved the rap OST the most. I laughed so hard, cried tears of happiness and of sadness, got mad and disgusted, pleased and touched, all in one. Really a 10/10 for me.
Wow I really disagree with the second review. The guy who killed himself was not selfish, he was suffering from narcissism which is a mental disorder. Because it's an obsessional belief you're better than everyone else, his mind couldn't take the truth that he wasn't. It was not just the second position it was deeper than that. And also he's not responsible for Tae Woong depression, Tae Woong is the one who chose to sink into guilt and give up on himself, so it's wrong to blame it on the narcissistic guy. I feel this drama teaches above other things that one should face their fears and wounds and not avoid them by shifting the blame on others. Both guys did this and it led to tragedies: one blamed his feeling of failure on Tae Wong instead of his mental problem and ended up killing himself, and Tae Woong blamed his persistent guilt on the guy's suicide instead of his unwillingness to move on and ended up almost destroying his whole life.
Very sad, but very interesting drama.
This time I want to slap the writer. Gawd this is a fcking makjang! Where did the uniqueness from the beginning…
I feel you. I dropped it before the makjang though. As soon as I felt their relationship was starting to get weird, I dropped it. I loved the honesty and all, but to me it was just not a pass for other BS I was seeing and didn't like. Anyways, out of curiosity I came by and see if the drama picked up since it was so lovely at the beginning...and after reading the comments...I'm glad I didn't watch it...it's always frustrating to watch a drama sink.
I'd like to give it a try but I can't stand Goo Hye Sun's acting. I tried so many different dramas of hers to watch her in different roles, but it seems it's not the characters but really the actress that rubs me the wrong way. :/
Before I start this; how heavy/important is the romance?
It's not the main focus since the political plot is strong, I would say it's half romance/light melo/comedy and half political/military/comedy. The romance is extremely touching though...they're a badasssss couple!
This drama was awesome, don't know why I put it down the first time. I am the only one who wanted so bad to see if and if so how, they would kill Bonbon! lol
On another note, it was really stupid and unnecessary to kill Se Kyung. -_-
I have a question to ask... Why is Se Gi only one who has that kind of red tattoo on his back but other personas…
The tattoo isn't real, it's an effect they put in so us viewers would know it's him. Just like they make everything pink when it's Yoo Na. lol
But if his mom's name is Shin Hwa Ran then Shin Se Gi must be Cha Do Hyun's real name.
Ok I don't care what excuse they use to explain his behavior, that father had mental issues AND should still be jailed, along with his crazy mom and Cha Do Hyun's mother. Period.
The writers do a very good job at keeping the suspense because I still can't figure out completely who is really who to whom. Also, I realize for such a funny show, it deals with pretty heavy subjects such as mental and emotional abuse, physical abuse, mental disorder, trauma and big time family dysfunction...Wow!
The show was doing so well, pulling out original reactions and making us laugh...why throw in the typical noble idiocy BS ????
Why do writers always ruin a good drama? smh
