I like some jerks, like the one in Master's Sun, I only tolerate them when they're a bit crazy and God knows he was lol. That's why I also liked Hyun Bin in Secret Garden, or that guy in Fated to love you KVersion. But the others...gosh...I still cringe when I think the girls get with them in the end. I hated that crown prince in Goong so I'm still frustrated with the ending...same for the guy in Wild Romance. looool.

I love how the show was about her maturing and toughing up...it was not really focused on romance, though I liked the progression of the couple...well...that is until he slept with his ex-wife...smh...I could no longer really root for them. I think somehow I wanted her to ditch the guy, cut off with her fake best friend too, and continue working on herself. :)

I love everything about this drama, especially Oh Ri Jin's craziness, Cha Do Hyeon's sweetness, Shin Se Gi's boldness and the OST of course. :P
On Kill Me, Heal Me Feb 14, 2015
Damn when I see Cha Do Hyun I miss Shin Se Gi, when I see Se Gi I miss Do Hyun...lol Up to now I can't choose between those two.
Thank God this is the only drama where the girl will get both first and second lead in the end. Ah ah ah!

So let me get this straight. Cha Do is the offspring of his father and his mistress mother? And Ri Jin is the offspring…
That's what I think I understood too. His father had him with his mom without marrying. And his father's late legal wife (which seems to be Ri Jin's adopted mom's twin sister) maybe had Ri Jin already but with another man. So they aren't related.

OMG I'm so tensed...was he beating him ? was he molesting the girl? what did that father do to them? What kind of abuse did he go through? The suspense is killing me!

I liked it at first, it looked promising and was refreshing because there's no dragging but rather honesty and they all say how they really feel. But I don't enjoy it anymore. The writers give it a turn I find unappealing: there really is emotional abuse between the Doc and Hong Do when you look pass the straightforwardness and also I don't like how he entertains her self-depreciation and how she entertains his narcissism. So their romance is not exactly enjoyable to look at now. I dropped it at ep.10.

Sincerely speaking I started this drama out of curiosity for it's hype but I'm at ep 16 and I'm not that impressed…
I think it's the combination of many little things that make it awesome as a whole. The story isn't the greatest but is very touching and the suspense is real keeping you wanting for more. The romance isn't the greatest but is portrayed beautifully. The OST is beautiful, the dialogues sometimes feel like poetry. The love (parental, friendship, romantic) is really beautiful. Some scenes are so nicely shot like the first date or her meeting her mom talking about guys. Many scenes have a special feel and great visuals. The acting is really good. And last but not least the ahjumma is downright hilarious!

To me it's all these combined that make it one of the best shows I've seen. :) Actually I didn't like the first episodes, didn't find them that great. But the whole thing is really way above average.

I'm disappointed with the drama. The detective ship has sailed, sad but it's really too late for him so his persistence…
@HasegawaYui actually I don't expect her to be totally confident since she's sick, but to improve and also love herself more. I just find it unhealthy that their honesty seems to be portrayed as a pass to downright rudeness, disrespect and excessive narcissism for him and self-depreciation and idealization for her. To me it's more than just character flaw it's twisted, and I just happened to realize it yesterday with the last episode. So I don't like it at all. However if you like the show, to each its own of course.

I'm disappointed with the drama. The detective ship has sailed, sad but it's really too late for him so his persistence becomes pitiful. I'm seeing the OTP in a new light and don't like what I see. Basically the guy is like ''you're not good enough for me but still be my experiment since I like those new feelings''. And she's like ''I'm clearly no match to you, and I don't mind...and she's almost at his beck and call. I would like her to value herself more and him to be less narcissistic and selfish.
OH well...I'll just drop it since the characters annoy me a bit now.

I'm half way through and this drama has a secret garden/autumn's concerto/you who came from the stars feel, and the romantic tension is at the level of sealed with a kiss...a little less twisted though...I'm pleasantly surprised. Nice OST, nice dialogues, interesting story.
