is it me or did those special fire/sound/lightening powers seem really... unnecessary?
They became nonsensical because they didn't exploit them properly in the series. I liked the idea of a supernatural/fantasy side with his powers since the first episode seemed to hint at that...but then I just didn't see how relevant it was to the plot developed afterwards...such a waist...could have been awesome...smh
Watching it again, I remember how enthusiastic I felt during the first episodes, then it got draggy and finally they ruined it with how they developed characters and set the ending. I still feel the same the second time. Why is the plot all over the place? -_-
And also OMG I can't stand the female lead! She was good at nothing else than create ruckus, being captured or poisoned, and put everybody in shit. As for the king his strongest point was his ability to be weak, coward and whining. ARggghhh so frustrating... but not as much as the romance. Talking about the most anti-climatic romance! lol Rarely seen such a dull connection.
Of course it's not all bad: when Choi Young is mad the fighting scenes are daebak! Lady Choi is badasssss and the real OTP is General Choi and the King! lol
Well, I'm very disappointed. :( Since ep. 6 the drama became a bit boring, ep.9 picked it up 'cause of the suspense, now that it has ended I'm left with a bittersweet feeling. I don't know how to say it...of course I'm utterly pissed for what happened but it feels like Dr Frost's character is left incomplete...maybe they plan on another season...
I was a bit disappointed, especially with the 1st ep which I found boring and confusing, bcause of comments my expectations were very high. Nonetheless it does pick up at ep.7 and gets more interesting each new ep. I love that romance isn't the only focus but is still done beautifully, also the flashbacks to 80s are the most touching. :) It's really a show above average.
First drama where the lead guy and second lead are in the same body. LMFAO
I haven't seen those two, but are you saying in those there's this weird love triangle where the guy is actually two different guys fighting and hating on each other because of the female lead? That's actually what I find awesome in KMHM and really enjoy watching. If it's like this I might try these dramas. It seems Healer is really popular.
Aaaah aaah I'm so confused. This drama is awesome! I can't believe I'm shipping the doc now...loooool. Sorry but the sexy and kind cop had 7 years to realize his feelings and I just hate when they get it only when the girl starts to move on.
Anyways everything is so different than usual , the feel, the characters, their honesty with the way they feel, the OST...wow...really liking it so far.
It's not the amount of tragic events that makes the story beautiful it's the intensity. Korean writers don't seem to understand this principle. It's like they run out of ideas to throw in sadness or keep the couple apart, so plot becomes ridiculous and forced. The last blow in the final episode was really unnecessary. If it's to show love can only be beautiful in tragedy then go all the way and kill one of them. But don't ruin it with a twist like that...smh...
Daebak! I love how he really thought he would just get away with it, and that he was actually just a victim...My fav scene is when he realizes it won't go like he thought...lol.
