He never even once acknowledged his wrongdoings, he gets a pass because he likes her. I really hate that in lakorns. The guy is all kinds of nasty to the girl and it's totally overlooked.
Not a good ending. The right ending should be: he realizes, apologizes and gets lost. Then she marries P'Chai! loooool :)
Is it worth to watch? I hesitate because I saw the main lead (heroine) was really too far apart in her age with…
Honestly I still have a hard time believing she's so much older than them, it doesn't look so, really...she really looks their age. I don't know if it's the make up, her voice or the haircut. It's just not weird at all.
You should try it.
So far soooo very good! I LOVE the heroine.
Ok maybe it has some BOF vibes with the flower boys and the love triangle but come on! The girl is a zillion times better than Geum Jan Di: first she's a fricking ninja lol AND kind, warm and brave like no other AND cute! The guy is no way messed up like Gu Jun Pyo: he's fair, totally cool, stands up to his parent and smooth lol.
Honestly so far I really love this drama, hope they won't ruin it like T-writers usually do in the second half!
PS: God...her fashion sense though...she dresses in curtains.....looooooool
Because of the last episode I had to raise my rating!!! It's good, it's very good. A bit slow, and she can be frustrating, Li Da Ren...well...you really feel his pain...and really the ending is soooo worth it! Plus it's simple, realistic and mature. A good watch :)
I put it off for so long and just gave it a go. I marathoned it. Well, it's a cute drama but I was not as impressed as expected after reading so many good comments.
I must say I didn't like the lead girl that much, she was so violent and unromantic....lol. I did like though how every character was sweet and warm in their own way.
i just finished episode 9 and honestly I feel like dropping this drama because of the creepy relationship between…
I agree I found it so gross...ewww...I think Smile You is the only drama where I was ok with the guy liking the older sister, then the younger. It didn't have that pedo vibe.
I know I won't watch it because I I can't stand that habit of giving male leads a pass for cheating....they always…
Yeah that sounds more like usual makjang logic.lol
I don't think he still loves her, both always change. That's why I don't like this type of story. It sets as axiom that you can't move on, so usually the leads never do....*sigh
I know I won't watch it because I I can't stand that habit of giving male leads a pass for cheating....they always still get the girl in the end....:/ Hopefully this will be different, but I won't take the chance.
The girl has bad acting, makes it painful to watch, especially when she cries. Well the story is still cute. It's always nice little stories of teenage love (this series). :)
Is it bad that I don't want her to end up with both of the main leads? Both of them are kinda jerks
Agreed. Her character and behavior would fit better in a solo path. That drama rule of having the girl ending with one of the two is forceful sometimes.
She purposely let him believe that she was sick to have him drop the lawsuit. And then she acts like the offended…
No she always said she bears with his anger cuz she knows what she did was wrong (she only did it for the staff actually), she even said in the end she cannot put all the blame on him. She got really mad when he brought the bullying too far, so much that Sun Qi Ming ended up in hospital. I think she handled herself well, and Shi De was too extreme in refusing to hear about the whole situation, misunderstanding she was lying since in Boracay.
I'm not familiar with non-korean dramas, but I'm really disturbed by the wrist grab, and the forceful kisses.…
Ceki 91 Yes I belittle forceful haircut compare to rape. I explained why I think it's not the same and should not be held to the same level. You don't like my points that's your right, but it doesn't change their rationality, otherwise people would go to prison for forceful haircuts too. I will insist again, it's not the same and it's actually belittling the crime of rape to insist it's the same. That's my opinion so what? I did not comment to convince you but to share another way to see things, I don't need you to agree, so I don't get your defensive reaction.
The damages and consequences are not the same, the long term outcome is not the same (yes hair grows back), so the comparison is insensitive in my opinion. It's simply my opinion. You are welcome to totally disagree and reject the logic, just like I disagree with you and am not convinced by your logic.
No hard feelings.
I think most of this is an attempt to romanticize a misogyny inherited from Confucian philosophy, like western film industry romanticizes a promiscuity inherited from Libertine philosophy.
Cases of extreme abuse like Le Jun Kai, Sealed with a kiss, Secret, Sawang Biang, etc. are an exception, these stories are not the norm in drama land (except Thai) . I still worry about young viewers misjudging them as romance, ''brutal love'' like they call it.
I can do with a wrist grab and unexpected kiss (girl shocked out of surprise not fear or displeasure) or even a temporary loss of control stopped on time.... but I must admit I can't take it when Stockholm syndrome is portrayed as love or crazy abuse/obsession as passionate love.
Lets also not forget the double standard when it comes to betrayal and cheating which is the epitome of male chauvinism.
But the medal goes to Thai lakorns giving a straight pass to rape. @_@
It's already delicate to portray crazy love-hate relationships, especially in cases of extreme abuse, it's not for just anybody, it targets a specific audience, but not just asian dramas do the genre. What bothers me in case of asian fiction is that it's rarely both being crazy but mainly girl taking all in for it to look '' romantic''...wth! looool

Agreed with Kachiing. A forced haircut cannot be compared to rape. Please think about victims of rape. Your hair grows back, humiliation and being robbed of your confidence or strength can happen in many different ways. Rape is another level, you can get severe internal injuries sometimes urging surgery, I won't even mention the consequences on emotions, intimacy, image of self etc. Plus your hair can grow back...how do you undo a rape. No no no please be careful with what you compare.
I don't now why I Love this show so much. lol Maybe because the OTP is the cutest couple ever! Plus they don't waver in face of struggle which is so not kdrama style.
Not a good ending. The right ending should be: he realizes, apologizes and gets lost. Then she marries P'Chai! loooool :)
It's not really my thing so I didn't enjoy it.
You should try it.

Oh...I forget Modern Toilet restaurant! @_@
Watching this again because it's light and cheesy! :) I so love it. Great when you want smth without too much angst and no evil character.
