Sorry, but we all need to wait. Youku is not subbing their dramas themselves. Lucky for us, 'productive procrastination' (a fansub group) is subbing 1EP a day. EP11 will nprobably be up today. Be patient, it is a lot of work. Also skim through the comment section here, someone put up google translated subs till EP20 (also quite the work)

Legal? As in paying for stuff? XD With Tencents WeTV and IQiYi you can pay monthly subscribtions and most titles are subbed right on release but sadly Youku didn't hop on the wagon with this one. There are no official subs, It's good old honest fansubs with extra explainations and love to detail you are not finding with official subs these days. Sometimes we are lucky and Viki get's a license where fansubbers are subbing it. Also monthly subscibtion but I have not figured out which licenses they are getting and which they don't. You are just lucky or not with that website ^^
I've read the novel parts with Wu Tong and LingLong (thx google translate, it actually works really well!!)
In the drama, he is very rough (to say it mildly). He is hurtful and angry towards her and you can only tell that he is in love with her from his stares (and that he didn't cut of her arm! x.x)
In the novel, he is quite gentle and cautious, but oversteps two times by touching/kissing her. He however does not hurt her, force feeds her, etc. It is pretty clear, even to her that he likes her. In the novel he keeps her locked up and tends to her needs personally for a very long time but only 2 chapers cover it. So most of what happened hasn't been told. After her capture and release, they never meet again.
I am doing that right now! I found the raws on some website and am currently searching for Wu Tong and LingLong. I wanna know more about them and wonder if it's different in the drama than from the novel :3
In the 19th EP Wu Tong is holding this small golden cage containing a bell (as far as I can see) and is threatening LingLong with something. Does anyone know what is happening there. We are probably a week away from the translation and I am just too curious. (disclaimer: I am eternaly grateful for the translation work!!! One EP a day??? Crazy work! amazing!)
