I love Wu Tong for not being a scheming ahole like everyone else. I just can't take the scheming anymore! AH! PAIN! Wu Tong is just pure, straight up evil and everyone knows where they are at with him. With HC everyone just believes his lies with Wu Tong, no one would even believe him when he were to speak the truth.

I also had the hardest time moving on from that drama!
Check out Love and Destiny, can only recommend. ML and FL were great. MLs micro emotions when acting were phenomenal. Strong but gentle character truly committed to FL.
Same with the currently airing Love and Redemption. Check out the first EPs of how ML falls for FL. It is too cute

I think he truly loves her, it is just that he is so abusive and twisted, he would never be able to believe love when it would be as pure as the one our main couple has.
He believes that the world is a dark place, out to get him. How can he ever believe gentleness? People being honest to you and treasuring you? He is so deep down that hole, he wouldn't ever believe a person like that.

With Wu Ting I am conflicted bc with every passing episode he is in it seems like he is getting worse and worse. At first he was just playing stupid tricks and kicking our FL off a sword without showing any kind of remorse nor regret. The next big thing was him kidnapping LingLong and even force feed her, etc. Then he wants to make her submissive (manipulate her) and only just recently he tortured a kid! Showing really no disgust for his own actions. He is truly evil with all sympathy for others lost but why whenever he gets beaten he looks so innocent...

Their love for each is just so pure. True commitment to the end!

I must admit I love Wu Tong but that is bc of the actor. I wanna see him die tho, no worries hahaha

I love how this drama has all kinds of evils. The evil within your own sects who control you by their rules, we have openly abusive evil (Wu Tong), evil in black coats, evil hidden in white coats acting all virtuous (we all know who imma be talking about), ppl forced into evil. It just has it all!
