Even thought she was missing all senses in the beginning, she still could tell with what person she wanted to spent her time with. Upon the prospect of being locked up on the mountain, she was indifferent bc she can’t feel anything anyway but after only gaining one sense and realizing she would be alone, made her reluctant to be locked up forever. With every following sense she gained more humility which she still was not able to understand. But her love for SiFeng was there right away. She was even stunned seeing his pretty face after lifting his mask hahaha
I don't hate HC yet, I didn't read the book so I only have the backstory the drama gave to me, so HC loves her…
She did not fail her mortal trial bc of SiFeng. He was nothing but a babe. She failed bc of her killing “aura” for which she was sent into the mortal realm to be cleansed from. But In every life she still ended up killing... I am so curious of all the time before the mortal realm happened. How did they all even end up falling in love with each other etc.

That is how I am handling it. The series is great but some parts are just too much for me. With a little skipping now and then I can still enjoy it though ahah the chemistry between the leads is too good to just give up the hole drama :)
I don’t think there is any character in this drama who is just black n white, just evil. They have their reasons. I don’t even wanna know how HC ended up the way he did.
She hits the books soon and after EP8 is already quite powerful but becomes only stronger with time. She is the strongest mofo in the whole series. It is worth waiting for her.
Why am I sad about “taming” Teng She? Having LingLong locked up with dubious consent makes my hearth ache for Teng She who did not agree to be “captured”... I can’t really enjoy the comedy and have a hard time thinking that this is okay and fun. Just bc they are the good guys does not mean they can force ppl to stay with them.... :< I was really looking forward to Teng She TTATT It seems however that he will come around soon and I bed they will be good friends so I will do my hardest to overlook that.

No need to let your imagination go wild. Nothing happened between the two in the novel and there never was a flower LingLong either. Instead she was just kept in a bottle beside him (That would have resulted in less “screen time” for LingLong). As of now (EP32, raw) LL is still with WT but they have less screen time than in what you just went through (EP16-19), there is no abuse after EP19 either you will even see him more tender in recent EPs. In the novel Wu Tong was very gentle with her and there was no abuse nor force feeding either, they changed that in the drama. In the novel, he however kept her to himself for more than a year...
People are so quick to condemn evil to death. I don’t wish death upon HC or Wu Tong, or anyone, I want them to see the light and walk a better path. It is easy to die but making up for your fault?! That is hard! Dying it the cowards way out

In the novel Wu Tong cared well for LingLong while he locked her up and I think she developed Stockholm syndrome. Years after Wu Tong died she still dreamed of him nightly. Those were nightmare though and she wanted to dismiss the notion that she had romantic feelings for him. There was no flower demon LingLong who was nice to Wu Tong. I am so curious how they are going to play it out and sad that Wu Tong can’t be redeemed and has too die
