That is so true. He is the best person out there. How can he just judge for himself what is evil and what is good. Who taught him that?! Like, there is *no* other character in the whole novel/drama but him who actually uses his own brain instead of borrowing from others.

I JUST wanted to comment on that! Even when she passed out after a fight (today, smn between Ep38-41) into HC's arms basically, he catches her but the two keep apart as far as possible (see her head is really far away from his body) and even bringing her back on her feed, someone else is helping and he is touching her almost not at all.
Or like in EP42 when he 'makes her' pass out in the frozen cave, he is not catching her or anything (she is also not falling into his arms either, she is kind of just mid air/sitting "sleeping").
I am wondering if that is bc of HCs character (maybe he is gay for her other half and not this one lol) or is it FOR US!? We would be raging fires, we would be tearing down buildings if someone as manipulative as HC gets to touch her after him driven off our wonderful SiFeng!

I also don't know but I read a discussion here in the comments (a biiiit further down, we are at 3.5K comments already omg) that SiMing was talking some BS love story about how HC and God of war were in ... love? I am so surprised about HC showing EMOTIONS (???) in EP 42 @35:00 even saying he wants her to "return home". Even he is suprised at his own *TEARS*??? He has that?? Is his human vessel misfunctioning? Leaking fluid? He needs to get that check out

With Wu Tong, I right away understood, that a-hole fell in LOVE. Just the very first shot where they met was set up that way (typical directing for "falling at first sight"). And so, this destructive, broken person took LingLong, the only nice thing he had ever laid eyes on and destroyed it! Driven to suicide-
But HC?! If that is the case and he really is in love with her (or a version of her, maybe the male ;) ) then... his "love" is even more destructive than Wu Tongs and that shit was already fukked up. HC on the other hand thought "hold my beer, I can do worse than that! Let me show you how the big bois in heaven do it!"

I am also so done, I shed too many tears. YuXi was so well chosen, when she cries, my heart hurts so much. She looks so adorable and pitiful AH it hurts!

I understood WuTong (I also read some parts of the novel), he wanted to keep her bc she was the only nice thing he has ever seen in his life but he destroyed it. He plucked a flower to put it in a vase where it withered and almost died and now MinYan and LingLong have to live with the destruction WuTong left them with. My heart can't take this and next week we are up for more pain from our main couple. I need strengh to get through this
After the stuff that happenes to WuTong after they left, I am scared for the revenge on that. He was not even done with the other revenge yet x.x

I really needed him! I enjoyed the whole bit with him and HC. Have not enjoyed a scene with HC in it this much.

I also rewatch that on the regular just to ease the pain. So soft and cute, made me instandly fall in love with the series. His eyes are so honest, you can read all his emotions clearly.

I love all the Teng She HC interactions, can't wait for the subs haha
