I would have loved that more explorered. Like... lets say he is totally gay for her other half, that would explain why he is so indifferent to her in the mortal realm and how he is not touching her or just ... has this very refrained relationship with her. But bc you can not split a person perfectly and even if they are going through a mortal trial, they are still the person you know (we have seen that in so many dramas before) so what if HC sees that other part of her in her, too and that is why he is growing soft.
But instead, what do we see? Why is he even "opening up" to her and telling her that she has a place in his heart? Is it just bc he is afraid of losing her to SiFeng or bc he is afraid she will lose the trial and end up dying for real and not coming back to be his weapon?
I just wanna know more on them so baaad

He had no time to chase his "love" for 1K years, he is a very *important* man! Ha! How can he even be jealous when she falls for someone who chases her for 1Ky and treats her right over and over again even after her failing him so. many. times!

I also felt that he was pretending more than anything and preaching shit he can't even do himself (unfeeling mantra etc).
But whenever I saw him emoting "jealousy" I was unsure if it was not just "envy". I was not sure if he wanted her love or if he wanted her as a tool., bc she is the most powerful thing in the universe.
But the scene in the cave and afterwards got me now confused. Is there really more to him than just "I wanna have this badass on MY side and fighting for me, doing what I say"
Of course he would love her to be unfeeling if he knew that she does not love him anyway, better she loves no one then!!

Honestly, when you watch a lot of dramas like this, you always end up rooting for the "bad" guys. There are many dramas where the guys in black are actually the good ones and the ones in white are just pretending and are way worse.

I also want to know all about him. I am no one to just hate a guy without having llistened to him. I even understand why WuTong did what he did, even if I don't like it and OMG my heart is breaking so hard for LingLong! But I at least understand what WuTong is thinking and feeling but with HC?
We see him all the fukking time and I have still now idea what he is thinking, what he is doing, what he has been doing in the past, what is he just chillin in the mortal realm, does he not have a job, and especially, I want to know all about him and our FL. And only then, when I know it all, imma be hatin him with a passion lol
