If you are thinking of watching this or maybe are already in the middle of this, I recommend checking out the also currently airing 'The Promise of Chang’an ' I don't understand why they are even airing it at the same time, it just makes this drama look way worse. I am usually not negative and try to see all the strong points but 'The Promise of Chang’an' is just doing everything right that this drama is doing wrong and ... I just can't help but be dissapointed. In 'The Promise of Chang’an' the ML is in love with FL but they can't be together bc the King (2nd ML) marries his gurl. What does he do? He hides all evidenve. Both of them keep no sentimental things that could be evidence and make trouble later on. What is this dramas ML doing? Keeping poems of 'unfulfilled' love in his house? Even a SHRINE with HER painting!!?? OMG It's just one thing to point out, the rest has been stated in the comment section already times and times over.
I didn't read the novel, I am considering to read that instead of watching this drama but I feel sad for all the hard work that has been put into this drama and the unfortunite time slot they chose to air it...

I just thought of 'goodbye my princess' if you are in the tragic love in aspect of L&R. If you are into their crazy chemestry and are missing that, watch 'peach blossom'. Also Ashes of Love has an 'falling in love in the mortal realm' arch which I enjoyed a lot! Beside that, Under the Power is great but ... there are no real kissing scenes and that might be off putting for some ^^* (The kissing is stand in)
