Before watching, I didn't check out the Novel and was surprised at how much people were screaming 'rape' at the scene in the first 5mins of the show. To me, watching it without knowing anything about the Novel, just reading their faces and gestures... it didn't seem like rape to me, but still questionable consent. The morning after, Mark's question marks in his eyes and pushing Vee's hand away, seemed to me like he might not have hated what happened, he was just slightly upset. After all, he would prefer the guy he is actually in love with over some random other dude. However, now that I read the first chapter of the Novel, I am concerned about what happened in the skipped sex scene. In the Novel, he protested a lot. So... why is his throat sore the next morning in the series?

I guess they did spent a lot of money on that and thanks to censorship they need to spend even more or else they get nothing. I hope they at least got their costs covered, even if it looks funky now or else the studio might suffer and close. I would rather have a few mediocre products being aired (and paying our actors paycheck) and maybe the next project will be a better one hahaha

And that even though it seems like the Chinese audience is even pickier than the western one. When you browse Chinese websites like Weibo you will quickly find post were they spot the smallest mistakes like white wig fixes to keep the wig in place in 'the pillow book' I could barely spot them even after having seen such posts.

When ever does a drama hit me like this? Where the main character dies and you are morning for that character. Where you see that person reappear in dreams and you just feel your breath shorten and the tears keep and keep on coming. I don't ever want ever to feel that pain. I can barely stand it second hand in a drama. I love this drama and it's characters. Our FM is the strongest babe
