Excellent! I've been dropping or putting on hold a lot of dramas lately, but this one kept my interest all the way through.

Which one do you thing had better chemistry, this one or the original Taiwanese one? I can't decide which one to watch.

I postponed watching this because the synopsis made me think FL would be kidnapped for most of the drama and the ML and FL would barely be in a scene together. When I realized my mistake I watched the drama and really enjoyed it.

FL was annoying but otherwise this was a fun watch, if you go in expecting a basic rom-com. ML is a green forest and a heart-warming guy, some side characters are also very refreshing.

So, no romance?

Stills, if ML agrees to run the company, the sister will lose it. Even if he does not really want it and only does it for his mom.

Did you watch this all the way to the end? Was it okay? Many comments saying it gets worse and worse…

He might not want it, but dad wants him to have it. And he's the "legal" child from his marriage so the sister probably always feels jealous. I'm just on ep 5 too so I don't know if there's something else going on, but this is what I'm thinking now.

Yes it is. I think it originally aired so that the eps were shorter so there were more, but same content.

Of course, I'm just asking for other people's opinions and recommendations to help me decide. But I actually already started this drama and I'm liking it very much so far. There's just something different about Gu Man dramas, I don't know what it is.

Yes, I think Boss & Me is really good! It's more humorous than other Gu Man's adaptations, but not crazy comedy - still also serious and realistic. It has the rich boss and poor employee clichee storyline, but it's handled very differently than in all other dramas, in a much more realistic way. Towards the end there is some more boring storyline. Not bad but so that when I rewatch I usually don't watch all the way through.

Thanks! I also liked YAMG very much, but I thought the space parts were boring and game stuff so-so :D The romance was really good in that one so I liked it. Maybe I'll try this if the romance is good here too, if there is enough. My Sunshine is my favorite from Gu Man but all others are really good too.

Thank you for your thorough answer! I did like Love is Sweet, so maybe I should try the first 7 eps as you suggested. The corporate subplots, oh yeah I know what you mean... Sometimes they can be good but mostly they are just boring. In You Are My Glory I skipped all parts where the ML was working :D In Boss & Me the work parts were better integrated so I liked them, it's an office romance too. Thanks for the tips on what to skip. There are some dramas that have boring first arc but later become really good so sometimes it's worth to watch even if you skip some scenes.

I dropped ASoL too... Same reason as LMLMV. Just didn't feel anything. I liked more for example Boss & Me and My Fated Boy.
