Yes, same. Like.. some prefer ml and some sml - so what? They both good actors playing interesting characters. And judging by their interactions on set they was having real fun together with LUX. This pairing microaggressions so meaningless imo. If these people find all this Xiao Yu/Pei fanfiction on rednote they prob selfcombust)

I really don't get some people fixation with how other people watch this drama and what emotional experience they have with it. Everyone feels differently, everyone perceives this world an people (and art, dramas, books and all that jazz) around them differently. It's really a good thing. Who knows the relationship between Pei Zhen and Xiao Yu . I know they go way back... but how are they related.
I suspect that their fathers founded this company together. And after ML father died I think it's possible that his mother remarried with Pei father.

Yeah and it's sad really. Here she almost like a prop. Narrative device for ML character development. I started this one for PXR and Cang Cang story bt atm I don't fill that FL have her own contingency besides her relationship with ML so I put this one on hold for now.
