So many words and so little substance. "so I thought we could give every country a fictional name. But if we did that, it would lack realism, and the audience wouldn't be able to immerse themselves" - Yeah.. Idisha enter the chat. Seriously this emergency pr feels so childish. And tbh Tempest such a nothingburger of a show that I start to think they intentionally trying to fire up this one for clicks.
This ending seems to have divided people's opinion about Li Shuang's decision to abandon the Crown Prince. I have…
I agree with some points - this situation indeed messy. But also don't forget - Li Shuang family status kinda complicated. So what happen if she get involved in such messy palace intrigue on behalf of the Li family without her father approval? Imo it'll become much much more messy very fast.
Oh, yes. Absolutely agree. CP already problematic and it seems he will be really big problem in no time. His self-serving…
Yep, agree. I absolutely can understand if character driven by his wish to survive. But i don't think CP driven only by this wish. I have bad feeling about his character development in future eps.
Wow, OK CP is definitely a trip. She’s over here crying her eyes out over someone precious to her not only does…
Oh, yes. Absolutely agree. CP already problematic and it seems he will be really big problem in no time. His self-serving attitude make me worry about our FL.
Episode 17 they mention Crown Prince betrayed the FL. I just don’t remember and I don’t want to go back. Help?
They was talking about his broken engagement promise to her 3 years ago when emperor made him crown prince and ordered him to marry minister's daughter.
Started episode 1. Just noticed the rating is only 8.2. It’s pretty low. Is this movie worth watching? Is it…
Tbh mdl rating never reflect true story worth. To many variables influence this numbers. Imo for now (mind you everything still can change - after all we not done yet) SL very nice fantasy romance drama sprinkled with a little bit of palace intrigue and border war actions.
Oh I really loved this moment. Tbh one of my favorite tropes - reformed antagonist)
There is a bit of nuance in difference between villain and antagonist. He def not villain, but he was antagonist for Li Shuang. After all he was opposing her, working with this spy abducting her brother and creating conflict for the plot. But I'm glad they go this way with his redemption arc. I really like Liu Yi Hong - he has range as an actor, and I'm glad he's not just 'one of the bad guy' plot-wise.
She's a female general, not a male general. No woman is too feminine to be a female general.
This. So this. Tbh I'm a bit tired of this kind of comments about Li Shuang and her not being right kind of fgeneral. Imo she is perfect exactly like this - smart, resourceful, calm and focused but not overpowered Mary Sue. Of course she have plot armor - she FL after all, bt it's not overdone and i really appreciate it.
