I don't feel like their love for each other is romantic. Their bond only happened after she tranferred the love bug poison. She cares for him but she understands that care can turn into something more. And she knows that isn't the love she wants especially someone who will potentially harm the people she actually loves.
XY has shown how jealous and hurt she gets whenever stuff involves Jing even before she got back her identity. She constantly feels betrayed by him because she feels he is hers but she gets reminded, that he isn't. She always gets so mad at the poor guy who is probably one step away from being killed by his own brother. She expects too much from him imo and should just choose that guy CX hangs out with to save herself the trouble. She doesn’t even look at him lol
