Ah, i am already at end of ep5. A encounter between Du Xiaosu & Lei Yuzheng, their chemistry is so startingly interesting because of the dynamics of her being in love with his brother and him being protective of his brother and distrusting her immensely. I mean, i have never watched anything like this! The break up scene between Xiaosu & Zhen Rong hurt my heart. Zhen rong is such a great human being. Not cynical and ruthless like his older cousin/brother.
I cried all throughout the series and the ending was perfect!!! This drama is like a hidden gem, it is an instant…
I would be scared shitless if this one got a remake. I mean, it feels so untouched...so special. I don`t know, the production and cast were at their peak during this time. I don`t feel like anyone can top this treasure of a story. It may not be that original, but its a classis in its essence.

ML from the original version of "Fai Luang" would have rather bleached his own eyes than EVER kiss his deceased father`s mistress.
He was so zero interested in the FL´s sister, he only ever despised her, so much so that he forces his fury and vengeance towards the FL who pushes all his buttons and becomes the object of his fascination.

It only somehow gets cringier and Risa just made me want to claw my eyes out with how passive, naive and stupidddd she was. Fukami could have been a better developed Alpha-hero, but its only telling and never showing. I rather prefer passionate Male leads than cold ones and he just made such questionable desicions as well.
In all i think Japan does high-school dramas/movies way better these days.

I totally get what you mean! This was a incredible story. For some reason my most favourite episodes was 10-12 because of the confrontations between them, both verbally and emotionally. Made my heart burn.
Oh my god. I have no idea whatsoever i am gonna do with my life now. "Maid`s Revenge" was such a thrilling, dark, enfuriating, addictive, smart and sexy epic romance that gave me everything i craved in this genre. Tingyao is a cute heroine with a wonderful character developement but it is the beautiful alpha warlord Male Hero Tian Yi that totally took my breath away with his stunning looks and acting. He was raw male power and oozed so much sex appeal i had to take my eyes off the screen sometimes because i had to FREAKING BREATH with how beautifully dark and sexy he was.
Gao Zheng did this character so well that i am stunned. His acting was so natural and fitting of this powerful character that execuded power, authority, strength and such sex appeal, but also showing his heart through his eyes. When he looked at his female heroine with such agony and longing i just wanted to cry. He is one of my favourite on-screen heroes. Never gonna get over him, just sayin.Ahh
I have to say this version of Hana Yori Dango is the best. It's the only version ML lead character apologies properly…
I have always found a haunting quality in MJ´s character despite his carefree persona in all the versions. In the korean version he asks Yi jung ( Kavin`s character): "Isn`t it embarrassing to be friends with me?"
Its quite heartbreaking when he states that all the people around them in their society doesn`t even consider him a human being. But he doesn`t care about their opinion. He only cares about what F4 thinks of him. The dark path he has to take being a heir to a Mafia Family.
Kaokla is one of the most tortured heroes on Lakhornland. Even re-watching this lakhorn it stuns me how he desperately tried to keep his mind sane, and not totally go deranged with fury. His lonely and painful soul...how much suffocated he felt. How ruthless he had to become to survive all these years. Its utterly heartbreaking.
