His forbidden love that was in a arranged engagement with his uncle. But alas he loved her in such a sorching burning way that it was self-destructive...and to not hurt her in his anger, he repeatedly hurt himself bodily, while also enslaving her in a torment of humiliation in the status as his mistress/plaything. But while his words hurt, his eyes spoke of unhidden desire and yearning for her love. It was so hard to watch these two in a clashing force of fire against each other, these destined lovers.

Ben Wang`s best role in my opinion. He is so dark and tortured, in constant grief and torment. Miserable in loving a woman he is not supposed to love, but whom he cannot tear his heart away from.The way he constantly gazed at her..touched her.His raging passion & jealousy,oh yeah!!! He is a magnificent force of a creature, alpha male in his right. Ready to challenge anything and anyone in order to possess his beloved. He never could let her go even when she begged him to.
