The fox bead came out after she cried because she never cries well at least she hasn't for 21 yrs.
Hmmm that's an interesting theory

i dont think they kept goblin in mind while making it as goblin was way less darker and more funny than totnt...…
Of course it is not gonna be 100% like Goblin if they only took inspiration from goblin (or maybe same writers?). And Im not talking about being darker or funnier in the first place. Im mainly referring to the initial premise.

Title Tale of the Nine-Tailed Spoiler
We all knew from the start that FL is the reincarnation of Ah Eum so no one is surprised lol. It seems the fox bead was in her tears. We need an explanation for that later. I gotta say, this should have the horror tag. The haunting scene was scary af and the kids didnt even need scary looking makeup.

Anyway what I think happened on the island was someone brainwashed people into moving to the island in the 1950s so they can worship the Serpent /Imoogi with the pretense they are worshipping the Dragon King. The imoogi was slowly regaining its strength from the people worshipping him and also from the human sacrifices. He finally awakened after FL's special blood dripped down the well and after sacrificing the whole village. I think some of the Imoogi's blood or powers was left in FL's body that's why he needed her blood. Her parents were probably tricked into going to that island as well.

Finally caught up this and here is my initial thoughts. Obviously this was produced with Goblin in mind. There are some similarities and it's probably not a coincidence that Lee Dong Wook is the main lead. That scene where he said "I know what grim reapers really look like" was kinda funny.

The premise and plot itself is pretty overused already, well at least for people like me who reads a lot of manga and light novels. There are so many romance stories (in shoujo manga that is) about "immortals" meeting the female lead when they were still a kid and meeting them again as grown ups. Honestly Im not really a fan of those.

That said, where this show really shines is the characters and the overall storytelling. Even though the plot and premise is overused, I was still engaged in the story and what's going to happen next. And I think this is the first kdrama I've watched where they explored deeper into korean mythical creatures, folklore and superstitions. I really like that. It kinda reminds me of traditional japanese exorcism stories. Im now looking forward for the next episode.

The comment section has majority of negative comments now. Lol I'm loving the drama alot . I always knew this…
Yeah I dont understand why they hate conflicts. It is frustrating but that is the main goal of the writers--too frustrate the viewers and make them watch til they resolve everything XD. It's not a drama without conflicts lol. And I think they are forgetting that this is not a romcom but a melodrama.

Song Ah be silent but you dont steal her man lol. I think she'll end up giving up her dream of performing. The answer to the question "Why many event planners dont last long" is a foreshadowing of what will be her choice in the final episodes. She'll probably start a career as an event planner.

Anyway, Im still waiting for the main leads to finally play together. Why is it taking so long lol.

I have not watched this drama. I am so confused by all the negative comments that I don’t understand how this…
It's not suuuuper amazing, but it's still a good drama if you dont have anything to watch.

I watch this drama without any expectation and didn't read the sypnosis (which usually I always do before I watch…
lolol good thing I found out he was male after finishing the drama

I've just finished watching the drama. I've also just found out the kid playing as Seo Woo is actually a boy.....

Anyway, pretty nice drama. It's been so long since the last time I've watched Kim Tae Hee in a drama. The actress playing as Hyeon jeong is also in Record of Youth. I think she's really perfect for comic relief roles lol.

Overall, It's not a drama you watch for the romance but for the familial love. The message throughout the drama is cherish every moment you spend with your love ones because you dont want to live with regrets when something bad eventually happens.

I knew the matron was not the killer but I've never suspected Takigawa until he entered the room with a knife. And I really thought the sweetmaker with glasses is Tsubaki's father. I like it when Im wrong, it means the show isnt too predictable. Loved that slowmo hug in the bridge scene. Really set the mood.

Anyway, the storytelling, the characters and the revenge plot definitely screams shoujo/josei manga. I knew it from the first episode and confirmed it later. Really fast-paced story progression I guess it is to be expected since it's only 8 episodes. Wished it was longer. Overall, I think it is one of the well-written jdrama in terms of plot in recent years. I love the intrumental opening theme; I never skip it lol.

I demand an epilogue of Nao and Tsubaki as a married couple. I need more closure XD

Almost everyone except the main leads are hateful lol. For me, Han Hyun Ho, Chae Song Ah's teacher and the backstabbing former Kyungho employee tops the list. I dont like Lee Jung Kyung, but I dont exactly hate her either. She has wronged people but the drama shows that she's not exactly evil, probably just confused.

same director!
I think it's the former. Because BIMFL was still kinda popular at the time, they wanted to give the fans a glimpse of what happened to them after the drama.

I like romance stories where the main leads get together early on, but at the same time it scares me of the inevitable--the break up arc (based on my experience). Considering there are still 10 episodes left, the chance is extremely high.
On Record of Youth Sep 27, 2020
I see a lot of viewers getting bored of this. It's kinda understandable since this is, in anime terminology, a slice-of-life romance. The slice-of-life genre is kinda an acquired taste. You can easily get bored if you dont like this genre. So no need to torture yourself and continue watching. As for myself, I dont mind it. Im not crazy about this drama but it's enjoyable enough for me to pass the time.

From what i understood. Right when Seo Do Won was going to shoot himself, he heard the train again which was off…
Yes. It is heavily implied that ML traveled to a 3rd parallel world and FL chased him to that world.

Im kinda sick of the memory loss trope but somehow they still managed to execute it perfectly. Much needed final umph to end the story. Poor Moo Jin tho. Forever alone.

I was originally hesitant to watch this drama but Im glad I watched it. It turned out to be my favorite kdrama this year (so far). Well written story and the main casts really overdid themselves. There were some inconsistencies, not really plotholes, like how Hee Sung's hair was black when he attended the funeral but it was shown he had blonde hair when he was killing people. But that's just me being nitpicky.

Overall, it was a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Perfect balance of mystery, suspense and romance. Almost no negative things to say about the show. This, train and IONTBO is my top kdrama this year. Kdramas have the best anti-heroes.

I'll give this a solid 9.5/10.

Everybody is praising both actors and I can only agree. Lee Joon Gi's micro expression changes were so thrilling...I…
2) A specialist can still recover deleted data from any storage device.

from the web:
"In your computer's hard drive, there aren't really any iron nails. There's just a large shiny, circular "plate" of magnetic material called a platter, divided into billions of tiny areas. Each one of those areas can be independently magnetized (to store a 1) or demagnetized (to store a 0). Magnetism is used in computer storage because it goes on storing information even when the power is switched off. If you magnetize a nail, it stays magnetized until you demagnetize it. In much the same way, the computerized information (or data) stored in your PC hard drive or iPod stays there even when you switch the power off."

Too put it simply, when you delete something, the data itself is still there just waiting to be overwritten in the future by the system when it decides it needs to. What was deleted was the "paths" to the data. If the data has been fully overwritten then it is truly "deleted" or if only parts of it was overwritten then it might still be recoverable but parts of the file will be corrupted.

Does anyone remember in the initial episodes Ji Won tells Hyun Su that she had a complicated past? What was that…
Do Min Seok just said she ran away and left both of them. But it was also mentioned that authorities confiscated her belongings(maybe for investigation) so something must've happened to her. It's not clear what happened to her. I guess the writers forgot about it or they intended to leave it to the viewers' imagination.
